The woke love to dismiss the āculture warā as a trivial obsession of the right. They want us to lie down and surrender as they trash our liberties, tradition and economic prosperity. Fighting back is the only rational response, says Gillian Philip

It would be nice if the next Government could believe in Brexit 100% and fully implement it for a change.

This is just a lie.
āThe reason the small boat crisis has arisen is we canāt return people and we have people knowing we canāt.ā
The Prime Minister has argued that the arrival of around 213,000 illegal migrants across the Channel was a consequence of Britain leaving the EU.
Small boat crossings were first detected at the end of January 2018, two years before Britain left the EU. The Conservative government at the time declared the situation a āmajor incidentā ⤵ļø

There must be something he is good at ? Every Prime Minister should have a strength, however feebleā¦

So just so we are all clear.
Despite his promises that he will not go faster than the public, he is *already* negotiating rejoin options with the EU.
In all my days, I have never seen such a flagrant betrayal of voters.
This will not stand.

Britain is holding talks with the EU about a potential return to free movement and other options for closer alignment
The Times has been told that the UK is discussing a series of options about the future relationship which are due to be unveiled within weeks
Andy Burnham plans to set out his vision for closer ties with the bloc, including the potential of rejoining the union, and have a āconversation with the British public about our long-term futureā
The options that will be presented are being discussed with officials in Brussels to ensure both sides would ultimately be able to agree
One source said all such routes would be ādiscussed using diplomatic channelsā before any ābig bangā launch of the options on the table

We are turning into a failed state.
Ā£27 million a year spent on public sector workers whose jobs no longer exist.
A Sunday Times investigation reveals hundreds of workers in Scotland remain on the payroll, with some awaiting redeployment for more than a decade.
IEA economist Dr Valentin Boboc @doktor_val told The Sunday Times:
āTaxpayers deserve clear evidence that public funds are used to deliver value.ā

He has zero legitimacy for this shit.

Incidentally, as this is such an obviously stupid and pointless law with enormous scope for gold-plating, is anyone putting together a ābare minimum to comply with the lawā guidance?
Question for Church folk. I'm writing about the impact of Martyn's Law on churches.
- Are you aware of this?
- How did you come to be aware of it? Did you receive any notification or guidance from your diocese or another organisation
Thank you!

Why are we still discussing arguments that should have been settled for good in the 1970s ? Socialism doesnāt work. Nationalisation doesnāt work. High taxes and a massive explosion in public expenditure doesnāt work. When will we ever learn ?

40 years ago today, the Big Bang transformed the City. š„
It opened new markets, made us more competitive, and richer.
Share ownership became more accessible, the cost of gilts fell by 72% and the Cityās equity turnover exceeded Ā£1 billion in a year.
We need another Big Bang.
Gramsciās āmarch through the institutionsā worked. Now the Right has to fight back with equal force.
The right can no longer afford to be squeamish about this. Progressives, after all, are not timid. Despite being a minority in society at large, they have swept through the institutions with devastating power. And they must be met with equal, or maybe greater, force.
That will require bruisers who can cut through the inevitable crocodile tears and sophistic objections.
The de-decolonisers must be versed in the nonsense they are fighting, in order both to understand it and to articulate the case against it clearly and firmly. It's way past time for the progressive academy to be taken in hand ā and, where necessary, defunded.
Am I going too far? I have to wonder what High Priest Nekht would've made of people in ancient Egypt who spread strange racialised lies about Egyptian society. We can never know, but I suspect he would've dealt with them rather more harshly than I would.

Andy Burnham is trying to deceive the British people. While energy bills are rocketing, inflation accelerates and Labour are increasing taxes, they are chasing headlines claiming to be saving you money on your food shop. They claim to be giving us breathing space. Itās 40p off a week.
I have no doubt that the King and Queen will be enthusiastically welcomed in the Caribbean wherever they go.
Milton Keynes and Slough are still part of the historic county of Buckinghamshire, whatever the changes in administrative arrangements, and this should be reflected in the boundaries of the Lord Lieutenancy @LLBucks
The City of Milton Keynes is a unitary authority, but that doesn't mean itās ceased to be part of a geographic county.
Milton Keynes is still geographically in Buckinghamshire.
Changes in local-government arrangements do not change county geography.
Being a unitary authority and belonging to a historic county aren't mutually exclusive. Both are true today!
What possible justification is there for including Milton Keynes but not Slough in her area of responsibility as Lord Lieutenant ? Both were part of the historic county of Buckinghamshire. @LLBucks

We want to hear the views of people who live locally to Chesham, or have an interest in the town, about the changes we're proposing to the conservation area boundaries.
