People with no idea about cleaning houses and guest houses, no idea about the time it takes to do various chores, no idea about cleaners wages, and no idea about individual Airbnb variances - are suddenly experts in cleaning, guest houses, Airbnb and who uses it for what reasons
Clearly you are not a cleaner. What hourly rate do you pay your cleaner? Most cleaners are poor people, women. What hourly rate would you expect to be paid? How many hours to scrub a whole house of 3 bedrooms and do the laundry for 3 queen size beds, towels for 6 ppl and reset?

i collect all the bottles spread across the house in one place and try to put the trash in one place too, that’s the extend of help one should expect from a guest
airbnb owners like the karen below are profit maximising businesses who try to make additional income by charging the most they can for their property
all their furniture is super cheap, everything looks sub ikea standard and then they also have the audacity to ask paying clients to do their work for which they already charge them extra cleaning fee
airbnb is a low class business and i do agree with karen that many guests are extra dirty but that is the business you are in, you get to charge them extra money for it so don’t be entitled and also ask them to do your work
they are not your friends, friends wouldn’t charge friends $180 for cleaning

I find it interesting that many commenting on Airbnb don’t know a fucking thing about it: they haven’t tried being hosts, aren’t cleaners, have never been a guest, never booked a room or house or looked at how it works. Stays are accessed for different reasons not just holidays.
Misogynist violent men like this are a danger to every human female from birth … and every female of every species on the planet.

Accused domestic violence perpetrator Sam Wood tried to get the court to stop media publishing details about his alleged offending.
Wood faces charges relating to an alleged attack on his partner Snezana Wood. He is on remand in Queensland and will re-apply for bail on Friday next week.
Wood’s lawyers sought a non-publication order at Brisbane Supreme Court yesterday, that would see tight restrictions on journalists reporting on the domestic violence accusations.
The Courier Mail reports the court temporarily suppress names, addresses and identifying people named in the bail documents.
Wood's request to suppress the complete documents was denied.
It is alleged Wood pushed and strangled Snezana, preventing her from breathing. Snezana reported to police that she thought he would kill her. Wood is also accused of banging her head on the floor.
He denies the allegations.
He is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, domestic violence and strangulation in a domestic setting.
He will re-apply for bail on October 30.
