TOURISM SUSTAINS EVERY CORNER OF ONTARIO. Ahead of Ontario’s 2026 Budget, TIAO has delivered a set of pre-budget recommendations to the government - continuing to proactively drive industry priorities forward and build awareness of the positive economic impact of tourism for the province. 📘 TIAO’s Pre-Budget 2026 recommendations are grounded in the Forward Motion Strategic Playbook for Ontario’s Tourism Industry (2025–2030) and focus on six integrated objectives: ✈️ Attracting more visitors and spending 🚆 Expanding transportation and access 👥 Strengthening workforce resilience 🗺️ Facilitating product development and capacity investment 🌱 Advancing practical sustainability 🤝 Fostering collaboration and leadership across Ontario’s tourism ecosystem Collectively, these priorities support clear long-term outcomes, including growing visitor spending by 4% annually to $38.1 billion by 2030, creating 35,000 net new jobs, and generating an additional $1.5 billion in annual tax revenues. 🔗 Read the full Pre-Budget 2026 submission here: tiaontario.ca/articles/tiaos…
