I monitor gauging weirs along our local R Ivel. The readings fluctuate in a way that appears very suspicious at times.
Here is the data for the last couple of days. Why are the flows going up so much on a regular basis each night?
Why do the flows then return to "normal"?
I’d swear that you could watch the weather forecast and hear the valves opening long before the rain arrives!
