❤️🐾 DAY 19 | GREATER GOOD'S GOOD EXISTS CHALLENGE | THE GRAND FINALE THE $20 PUPPY WHO CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER Fourteen years. That's how long I went without a dog, despite loving animals my entire life. Then one day, a wrinkly little puppy climbed into my car. Every time I visited that house, he came running straight to me. Eventually, I paid $20 to bring him home. His name was Samson. I had no idea that little puppy would change my life forever. Samson became my best friend, my service dog, my family. I trained him, fought for him in court when he was labeled dangerous, and moved 125 miles to give him and his brother Memphis a peaceful life. But eleven years ago, I lost my beautiful boy after he became terribly ill. I believe he was deliberately poisoned. I couldn't save Samson. But I made sure his life would mean something. In 2018, Justice for Samson Animal Rescue was born. Today, we fight for the forgotten, the abused, the abandoned, and especially the dogs judged by their breed rather than their hearts. We have three acres, our first rescue building, and a dream of creating a permanent sanctuary. And Memphis, Samson's brother from another mother, is still here at 18 years old. ❤️ My mom and Samson are both in heaven now. I hope they're looking down and saying, “Look at our girl.” So why am I nominating Justice for Samson Animal Rescue? Because one little $20 puppy taught me that a single life can change countless others. Because love doesn't end with goodbye. And because every dog deserves someone willing to fight for them. ONE DOG. ONE PROMISE. A LEGACY OF LOVE. Thank you to Greater Good and everyone who has supported us throughout this challenge. ❤️ ALL DOG LIVES MATTER. 🐾 GOOD EXISTS BECAUSE YOU DO.
