I am a Sacred Heart Sister with the mission of my religious congregation to extend the kingdom of the Sacred Heart everywhere.
This mission enables us to devote ourselves to prayer, above all, joined with works of charity such as teaching, youth ministry and catechesis, nursing and personal care, soup kitchen and prison ministry, evangelization and retreat work, and missionary work.
It is a wonderful life!
I am blessed to serve as Mother Provincial to the United States and Jamaica, as well as serving as the administrator of our province's personal care home, John Paul II Manor in Cresson, Pennsylvania. I also work as a Catholic chaplain once or twice a week at a men's prison in Somerset, Pennsylvania, visiting the sickest prisoners in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I could never do this without the grace of God and your love and support.
Please be assured of my love and prayers for you.

PRAYER FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT:
Dear God, I spend so much time reliving yesterday or anticipating tomorrow
that I lose sight of the only time that is really mine, the present moment.
You give today one moment at a time.
That's all I have, all I ever will have.
Give the faith which knows that each moment contains exactly what is best for me.
Give the hope which trusts You enough
to forget past failings & future trials.
Give the love which makes each moment
an anticipation of eternity with You.
I ask this in the name of Jesus who is the same yesterday, today & forever. Amen.

Gospel of the Day (Luke 16,1-8)
Jesus said to his disciples, "A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property.
He summoned him and said, 'What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.'
The steward said to himself, 'What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg.
I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.'
He called in his master's debtors one by one. To the first he said, 'How much do you owe my master?'
He replied, 'One hundred measures of olive oil.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.'
Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'One hundred kors of wheat.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.'
And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. "For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light."

The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

#UPDATE: NTSB says there are indications the Learjet 60 was BREAKING UP before impact in Sunday's deadly crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, which killed all nine people aboard.
During Monday's press briefing, NTSB investigators provided additional details about the crash scene and the ongoing investigation.
Investigators said one person on the ground was injured, suffering a leg injury.
When asked about the size of the debris field, the NTSB said the debris consists of relatively small pieces scattered across a wide area, including businesses, residential properties and ball fields. The debris field could extend approximately half a mile.
NTSB investigator Tom Chapman said there are indications the aircraft began breaking apart before striking the ground, and investigators expect to find aircraft parts some distance away from the main impact site.
All nine people aboard, including two crew members and seven passengers, were killed.
Approximately 77 mobile homes near the crash site have been evacuated, with hundreds of residents displaced while investigators continue examining the wreckage.

«A gritos he dado la absolución colectiva...»
