Your friend picked TCU. Your cousin picked TCU. Your enemy picked TCU. Your neighbor picked TCU. Your great uncle picked TCU. But UNC has Bill Belichick. & that man is still the greatest of all-time.

No one did it better, Danny V promoted high school sports for decades. He was a great man and will be missed.

With an extremely heavy heart, I pass along that Donato "Danny V" Ventura passed away last night after a 7 month battle with cancer. He was a great journalist (best in Boston School Sports history), a fantastic guy, the best husband and a great friend to so many of us. So sad🙏

Have I ever talked about this guy? He seems really angry. One day he will actually break a story and I will be able to rest. But for now I remain the No. 1 Patriots reporter in town.

Patriots reporter @ezlazar calls @kirkmin a “bully” and “asshole” on the Patriots Catch 22 Podcast when discussing this reporting (h/t to great Minifan @RichM19 on the scoop)

Mr. Karam meant so much to so many people. I was honored as a young coach to have him at my games and giving me advice at halftime. Mr. Ventura you are correct… Mt. Rushmore for sure.

Sad to learn about the passing of legendary Durfee boys hoop coach Skip Karam. If there was a Mt. Rushmore for boys hoop coaches in Massachusetts, Skippy belongs. RIP to the Karam family.
