Growing up on Long Island, NY my whole young life, I didn’t know I was surrounded by so many true heroes. People waiting in line at the deli, or coaches of my teams, family members, or parents of friends.
On September 11th and the days that followed, so many people ran into…

danger. Some of these brave first responders paid the ultimate price that day, others still suffer.
We are forever indebted to the courage of the community members we called upon in our worst and most tragic moment.
Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.
At this time 20 years ago, my family and I were waiting for a call from my father who was a lieutenant in the @FDNY. We were lucky to get that call hours later letting us know he was ok. My heart goes out to all the families who never got that call from their hero. #NeverForget

🏅 Official #necbaseball Player of the Week 🏅
👉 EJ Exposito, @LIUAthletics
🗒️ Exposito and the Sharks played only one game, but the second baseman provided enough offense for a week. Driving in six runs, Exposito went 4-for-5 with two homers, one double & three runs vs. FDU.

I really hope people on Long Island appreciate how lucky we are to have young, influential men like @tobias31 represent where we live. The list goes on, @STR0, @DGreen_14, @Smatz88 etc. whether you agree or not, we all should be proud and appreciate it!
