Remember that a (mostly) healthy 49ers team beat — **and statistically dominated** — 2025's eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on the road to open last season.
Today's result simply validates what we knew: If the 49ers are healthy, they're probably the NFC West's best team. They have the most A-list players
On Seattle coming in #6:
I plug all of the different player/coach ratings into my model and share how the teams rank. Seattle's championship run plays a factor in how those variables will rank, but they don't automatically start at #1 because they won last year.
The board gets "reset" each year and Seattle
A) Lost Klint Kubiak
B) Lost Kenneth Walker, Boye Mafe, Tariq Woolen, Coby Bryant
C) Were one of the healthiest teams in the NFL last season, which doesn't hurt Seattle but it does leave a lot more ground for other teams to make up.
Anyway, Hope you enjoy the team breakdown despite where they came out in the Rankings.

I will not stand for Geno revisionism he had 3 years of top 10-15ish play with some terrorist offensive lines and OCs

Cenk: I don’t know how I can be more clear. Trump will end and prevent war in the Middle East. He wants peace.
Harris and her neocon cabinet want war, war and more war.
Alright the Bo Nix injury is officially the best thing to ever happen to denvers fanbase
How I see it if Bo Nix doesn't get hurt. #Broncos win the AFCCG because Bo doesn't turn it over. Even if Wil Lutz misses two FGs, the Pats don't get that touchdown gifted to them because Bo doesn't turn it over. Ballgame.
Super Bowl: Bo trades field goals with Sam Darnold. Again, no turnovers, next to zero sacks, & the Denver D at least does as well as NE. The D then gets Bo one last chance in the fourth quarter to go win it, & he does. Or maybe he doesn't, but SB60 would have been a competitive game down to the wire.

Instant reaction to Sam Darnold and the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl in the 49ers’ house.

Jermaine Kearse in Super Bowl XLIX. The Seahawks would go on to win 31-28 after a Marshawn Lynch 1-yd TD.
I mean I was on the edge of my seat

Grant Cohn asked Brock Purdy if Kyle ever calls a play in and he thinks to himself: “That play sucks, I’m calling my own play”?
Brock Purdy: “No. No I do not. Kyle has great play-calls and no, Grant.” 💀
