Hey hey! What part of Nebraska? I am out in Lincoln, NE.
It is super cool to know that a fellow believer in Christ, created SQLite, the most underrated database technology that is running on mobile devices and more. This documentary by @LewisMenelaws on SQLite was pretty sweet.

We need more purpose-driven actions that lead to fulfillment and contentment in the promises that come from God.
“Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” - Matthew 10:39
I just repurposed my iPhone Action Button to open up the Word of God. Talk about taking life giving and fulfilling action by receiving the daily bread that God gives us each morning according to His mercies.
I made a Shortcut to open up my new favorite Bible app @Literal_Word and the set my Action Button to it.
“but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”

Interesting. I have always been more of a product and end-user focused engineer. The coding aspect of programming has always been a tool for me, like how a pencil or brush is to an artist. I did care for the syntax to a degree because reading was and still is importsnt. But wirh AI now, i feel like it was pushed the interesting more to be product focused and engineers into Solutions Architect. Focusing more on system designs and thinking in shstems that both an agent and human can comprehend. Some companies are going to want to scale faster and having a good system design will reduce slop architecture and sound foundations.
God’s timing is perfect in all things. I haven’t recorded and launched a new episode in a long time. Not because I got burned out but because it was a season where God wanted me to put my focus on other things. He was and still is breaking down areas in my life that need restoration, building up of, and completely pruned away.
This podcast and the community itself has been a blessing to so many behind the scenes. Even if we didn’t have a new episode, it didn’t mean God was not working in the lives of brothers and sisters in Christ that are apart of the community on Discord. We have had round tables that have changed lives, we have prayed for each other in powerful ways (as a community or in a private voice chat) and seen God’s hand move, I have been connected with missionaries to help teach them how to build a WordPress site, etc.
There are a lot of things that we cannot measure or even see, when God is at work. He is never-ending and does not grow weary like us humans. He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscience.
The codeFellowship podcast is coming back soon and I am thinking of bringing it to X.

The LORD our God is producing some podcast episodes in the background. Can't wait to get home and record what God has placed in my heart in this season.

Unemployed Chronicles #13:
I have not posted an Unemployed Chronicles in a while. Felt good to be honest. I love to share what is on my heart and mind, encourage others, and see others be encouraged by the Word of God through these posts. But there was a point where it seem like I was putting too much effort in this than any other time I have done it. When I could be putting much more effort into my business and caring for my family. Also, there hasn't been much advancement with my applications, just denials left and right.
A few weeks ago, one morning when I was praying on my way to trucking school, I poured out my heart to the LORD. During my prayer to the LORD, He revealed to me the condition of my heart, what part I need to work on with Him while He breaks me down and builds me back up. It came back to the Fruits of the Spirit, which are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. The Sunday prior to this morning prayer, the sermon at church touch upon the Fruits of the Spirit and how if we lack any of them to seek them and ask for God to pour more of Him in you. Desire not only the Gifts of the Spirit but the Fruits as well. The Fruits are the outward expressions of God's character on display through our lives as believers.
Which Fruit do I lack in? It is Gentleness. At times I can be harsh with my words even if they are words with good intentions and full of love, but not everyone can handle the kind of love a New Yorker expresses, so I have to be more lowly and humble in my gentleness.
As I started to work on this with God and giving Him every flaw I can think of. My soul feels His everlasting peace. Every denial or ghosted response I receive, its just another confirmation that God is leading the charge in this fight. Christ is a conqueror of hearts. His purpose in my life is greater than the one I have planned before me. While God is molding me into the likeness of the Son, Christ Jesus; He is also providing for my family and I. Just recently, people have been reaching out for potential work to be done for their business, SaaS, or Startup ideas. Either organic search, conversations with my network, or word of mouth referral.
I am planning on recording a podcast episode or a series of episodes for codeFellowship( ) regarding this Spiritual Journey and Transformation that God is taking me through. As developers, we think it is the end or a long dreadful desert when we get laid off, but there is something much more to it than just a layoff. If we are followers of Christ, it is much more. It is a brewing testimony, a realtime witnessing of the power, grace, and mercy of God.
"3 So I went down to the potter's house, and there he was working at his wheel. 4 And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do." - Jeremiah 18:3-4. ESV

Awesome. Once I get back from my road trip with the family. I will get a date and time brewing and send it off to those who want to join in. I am debating whether it should be a live or recorded episode.

Amén!
And if anyone is confused, let them ask for wisdom from the Father who gives without reproach.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

That’s a really good question. My follow up would be, do the people who end up doing this truly know their Good Shepherd. John 10, Jesus speaks about how the sheep knows the voice of their shepherd and they follow Him at the sound of His voice. But if a stranger comes and tries to call them, they do not move but they flee away from the stranger.
I believe that’s the biggest differentiator when it comes to devout followers of Christ in contrast to people who call themselves “Christian”, regardless of the times.
I am looking to start Season 3 of the podcast soon. I am envision a panel of a couple of Christian Devs who have built with AI, implemented AI-powered features, and just casually drinking the AI juice. I want the primary focus of this episode to be about the state of AI technology from a Christian perspective and the good that Christians can contribute to the world using AI-technology.
I have some candidates in mind of reaching out to for this Season 3 Opener like @rasmic, @webdevcody, @CameronPak, and others.
If you know of any other Bible-believing Christian that would be a good fit for this, drop down in the comments.
