Sat down at a friends cafe one of the busy evenings and got to see first hand how the orders and deliveries work, but more importantly the pricing of each item varies in a order
Reminded a bit like the Uber/Ola situation of cabbies in late 2010s before the govt stepped in with min price/km
You are stuck with these platforms, and they are disproportionately advantaged over you
Swiggy is straight-up fucking over its “partners” with Toing. They’re listing cafes and restaurants on Toing without consent, slashing menu prices to ₹9–₹49 shit without asking, and giving zero control. Want to fix a price or pull just Toing? Too fucking bad
#SwiggyScam #Toing
Restaurants lose, Swiggy shows “growth,” and the support loop is a black hole of “we’ll look into it” and PoCs who ghost.
This isn’t partnership. This is extraction.
@Swiggy @NRAI_Official — fix the consent, pricing control, and independent opt-out now, or watch more outlets walk
you either shut your entire Swiggy presence or keep bleeding money. Margins already paper-thin after commissions, unauthorized ads, and forced discounts… now this budget app is the final knife.

105 attendees turned up in our meet-up today. This is just beyond brilliant.
In a small meet-up, this many people turning up on a Saturday morning just shows how crazy @peakbengaluru tech folks are.
Thanks @CRED_club for hosting us.
