Thanks so much for your support! We really appreciate it!
Update: we had a bug in yesterday's macOS release preventing the Password AutoFill extension from showing up in System Extensions. This is fixed in 4.3.1, available to Direct customers now! Hopefully available to Mac App Store customers soon, submitted for review last night.

Adding or removing a fingerprint invalidates Touch ID and requires login via Master Password as a security measure. We've responded to your support email and should be able to use your Sync Key backup to restore your previously synced data from Google Drive.

Right slow syncs affect users on slow connections (like cellular) or with very large databases. But in the future this will be a bigger problem. When we add support for images and attachments database sizes could grow very large so the old sync wouldn't work at all.

We're sorry to hear your frustration with the new Sync Key. This post provides context on why the Sync Key was added to Codebook 4: discuss.zetetic.net/t/why-do…. We appreciate your direct feedback and would be happy to discuss in detail at [email protected]

Skipping would require turning off automatic updates which is not desirable. Codebook 4 is more secure than 3 in almost every way, from key derivation, MAC, and sync perspectives. For detailed questions/comments email us (support at zetetic.net) to discuss

Codebook doesn't require case classes. It's a cross-platform password manager which is offline by default, doesn't require a subscription, and can sync via local WiFi or Cloud service. More information and free trials here: zetetic.net/codebook
