crazy seeing ppl deny johto’s low exp bc HGSS genuinely had me thinking I couldn’t raise more than 3 pokemon optimally for YEARS…it altered my whole mindset around team creation early on into the franchise 🌚 u CAN use 6 pokemon but it definitely feels discouraged! very grindy

HGSS is one of my favs and I think the low exp/leveling curve makes johto stand out from the other japanese regions (in a gameplay way which is hard to come by in a lot of earlier pokemon games) but let’s not get on here and act like it doesn’t exist…
