Delighted to attend the official opening of two new Gaelscoileanna buildings in County Monaghan.
Well done to everyone at Gaelscoil Lorgan and Gaelscoil Eois who fought for many years for these facilities.

Fianna Fáil arrogance on full show tonight as they reject our motion to abolish carbon tax on home heating oil.
They are completely out of touch. Sinn Féin will continue to fight for you and for ordinary families.

So proud of the nationalist community of the Garvaghy Road.
So proud to have stood alongside them.
People from across Ireland and beyond have ensured that there will be no going back. Not now. Not ever.
Onwards & upwards ✊🇮🇪

FG, FF & their independent TD lackeys made a calculated decision to screw workers & families in the belief that people will forget by next General Election.
It is a cruel, cynical approach by an out-of-touch government that refuses to understand the pressures on households.

The law currently allows for the accused in a rape trial to demand the counselling notes of the victim and to use them in court.
As chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Justice, Home Affairs & Migration I will be working with other representatives to bring this to an end.

Another Bike Shed scandal! This time it’s costing you €100,000!
The Taoiseach smirks and laughs when I challenged him about wasting millions of taxpayers’ money. Money that could have been used to help hardpressed household with rip-off bills.
Micheál Martin’s smart alec response - “Pearse Doherty should go away and design a bike shed for us.”
Talk about out of touch!

FF & FG are denying many children with disabilities their constitutional right to an education.
One of those is Sonny McElvaney from Monaghan who can’t attend school because NCSE have failed to allocate the SNA that he needs.
It’s not good enough & we won’t stand for it!

Today, I wrote to the Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Education to request an urgent meeting with Mins McEntee (Ed) & Chambers (DPENDR) so they can answer questions on the ongoing school secretaries & caretakers #PensionParity dispute.
Time is of the essence here.

The Ukrainian Accomodation Payment Scheme is unfair and deeply divisive.
Landlords are using the scheme to line their pockets while renters struggle with rising costs and a broken housing system.
The scheme must now be urgently reviewed. We need fairness and transparency.

This inexplicable decision should be immediately reviewed by Minister O’Callaghan. Children travelling from Palestine to participate in GAA activities on short term visas deserve more than bureaucratic refusals as do those clubs that awaited their arrival. jrnl.ie/6757964
