I know I haven't talked about Ape-Man in a long time. Since I started grad school, a lot of our plans had to change. Don't worry, Jerry Carpenter and the rest of the Society of Heroes will still see the light of day. In fact we're working on something bigger than YouTube now.

As you enjoy VisionQuest this week, remember Carl Burgos, creator of the original Human Torch, Jim Hammond. Marvel was so petty back in the day that they brought back the character in a Fantastic Four annual AND KILLED HIM IN THE SAME ISSUE just to prevent the rights from reverting to Burgos. And while comic creators would go on to give him Harvey and Eisner Hall of Fame honors, Marvel never made things right. Remember: What you create for the Big Two isn’t yours. Creator ownership matters.

I assumed that Absolute Superman was gonna kill Branniac when the synopsis for issue 26 came out. And they were gonna do an Absolute exile tale.
But instead it's Superman going across the universe to save the one person he couldn't from Branniac.

Democrats’ new trifectas in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada could let them push the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact past the 270-electoral-vote threshold needed to take effect.
The compact currently covers 222 electoral votes. Adding the five states’ 61 votes would bring it to 283. Once active, participating states would award their electors to the national popular-vote winner rather than the candidate who won their state.

I think the saddest part of there being so many evil Superman characters is that they rarely face up against good Lex Luthors
