As @bruce_katz mentions in this great article, now is the time to think of storefront uses beyond retail. Main Street Regenerators are a key part of this thought process. Stay tuned for more inspiration!

Tired of all the negative media coverage on #cities? I am pleased to invite you to The Case for Cities - a conversation series I am organizing with the UC School of Planning. Join us for free to explore what cities do for us, and what we can do for cities. thecaseforcities.org
I’m helping to put together an exciting conversation series to make the case for more attractive and equitable cities - I hope to share more soon. Do you have any suggestions for a leading US thinker on transportation (professional or academic)?

My secret hobby and such an underexposed part of our urban experience gets an LA revamp. Gear up for the blooming light!

Good to know for next time that @priceline doesn't allow cancelling their Express hotel bookings during this extraordinary time, while @hotwire does for their equivalent. I'll remember this!

For what it's worth, @priceline did end up refunding the booking. Customer service is still a thing!
