Not my day job, but V happy about my co-authored article on Ireland's only known surviving medieval rood. UK has only a handful; 2 in museum of Wales, none in British Museum, only a couple of fragmentary parts in UK. Any medieval wooden carving experts care to discuss style/date?
The ONLY surviving medieval rood in Ireland, likely from St. Finian's medieval church, Esker, Lucan? Article in @Archaeology_Irl Spring ed., out now, by @christiaan00001 & @consultantlibra from @Soc4OldLucan. #medieval @AaMIreland @FMDublin @irarchaeology @AineMedievalDub

It was an enormous honour to meet both our Irish and the Italian President on invitation by the Italian Ambassador to Ireland His Excellency Mr Ruggiero Corrias at the historic signing of Lucan House & Parco Italia to @sdublincoco last week.

Our delegation @CONULconf (@accaccamo missing from pic) A great two days of speaking, learning, sharing, networking, fun and more. Bravo to the Chair @morleyfme and the conference committee for a very successful event.
Ready for @CONULconf #conul24. There's nothing like a Conul conference for making you aware of typos in your presentation the night before. Argh! 🥴 Unfortunately, I realise this is part of being human 😂.

Alright, that's it. The Dutch have apparently done something so unspeakably bad, that @EBU_HQ considered it to be worse than slaughtering 30.000 people.
Joost united us all in the short time that we got to see him in Eurovision, and thats what the contest USED to be about. 💙

Joost Klein disqualified. Disproportionate and disgraceful decision EBU. Long live the future of Eurovision - not. With this @EBU_HQ anything can happen in future
Hypocrisy and unfairness sits *very* badly with me. #eurovision24

Jonathan Cully's recreation of original medieval bridge, from Lucan House across to Bleach Green @ Stanford's Hill. Remains of the bridge still exist on N side, private land. A tower was built on Lucan bridge for defence in medieval times. @sdublincoco @BsgLucan @Archaeology_Irl – at South Dublin, Ireland
Very sobering to hear the statement that we are training AI to replace us in HE, by Professor Laura Czerniewicz in keynote of #OER24
One provocative thought re. AI...as librarians, how do we address the requirement for academic integrity while using AI tools, which are built on plagiarised (training) data?
I've seen plenty of "breakthroughs" in my 23 years with MS but this is the first time I've ever felt properly hopeful....early days but "reversed" and "immunotherapy' (rather than pharmacotherapy) is promising. #CureMS #FeelingHopeful
