On my way to Paris with a lot of nerds!
Not sure I've ever been on a Eurostar with this many people I know before.
Challenge over, but plenty of time for The Snack Zone with DAX and ELL...

If you'd like to see the full route - we did over 480 miles across the two days per the below! 17 buses and a ferry all the way from York to Cork.

We made it to Cork last night, went to the hostel and forgot to tweet this last night, but we did make it entirely by bus (and a ferry)!

Last bus of the day - the 40 onwards to Cork! We're running westwards through the darkness - finish line in under half an hour

We've had fish and chips in Fishguard - the place up the slope from the roundabout is recommended! - and are on bus #3 for a short hop from the terminal onto the ferry...

Fishguard's very silly "bus station" and it's onto bus #2, the T11 for a quick hop down to Goodwick! We're not on here for long...

Surprise set swap in Cardigan onto an Optare Tempo!! I love Richards Bros' absolutely chaotic fleet and it's definitely been a step up in the fun factor... onwards to Pembrokeshire!

Bus #10 (and the first of today) is a long one - it's the Richards Bros T5 all the way down to Fishguard! Wales has a lot of these routes that plug big gaps in the railway network.

Good morning from Aberystwyth!! We've been spread around the town tonight, with some in guest houses and some in the caravan park up the cliff.
Time to head onwards... #YorkToCork

It's been a long bus trip, but we'll be done for today shortly!
We are as usual tracking this on busmiles, which is quite handy for logging.

A change using the pulse transfer in Dolgellau (several different buses line up to allow common interchange here) puts us onto bus #9 and our final bus of the day to Aberystwyth!
Too bad it's an E200...

Not impressed at all by the screens at Wolverhampton, which don't mention the split at Shrewsbury on this @tfwrail service.
It's only delivered as an announcement.
Bit of an accessibility failure. ^ RAV
