Imagine arguing that Lewis asking for rules of engagement brings Ferrari and the brand into disrepute? You'd think Ferrari would love appreciate rules to ensure operational harmony and consistency, like many other teams. Maybe there is merit to the contract clause for Charles...

Right. Lewis is in there demanding priority for a championship that’s already been won and that by his own admission has been a lost cause for months. Sure. Ok. Sure. Sure.

What I will say is, if Ferrari thinks that their drivers arguing is hurting their image and not the near 20 year drought of success, they are incredibly out of touch and under impressive delusion
This is a win-win for Lewis. He's not asking for favouritism and if they part ways with a 7x world champion in favour of a manchild with 9 wins in 8 years.... then Lewis protects his own time and energy. Ferrari are an unambitious organisation riding on brand name and nostalgia.
🚨 | FERRARI MANAGEMENT'S GROWING FRUSTRATION! Ferrari’s leadership is reportedly particularly frustrated by the damage the Hamilton-Leclerc rivalry has caused to the team’s image. If John Elkann also grows frustrated, questions could arise over how much support Hamilton’s position would retain within Ferrari, especially if he continues his dispute with Leclerc. 📰 @Auto_Racer_it

Who are we to disagree with a former world champion? You got 24 hours @ScuderiaFerrari @Charles_Leclerc
Here is where I stand on the Lewis v Charles debate, and I made this point in my commentary on @5liveSport on Sunday in Mexico; make Lewis #1 Ferrari driver. Sort it out. Make it clear. Ends all debate. Lewis will deliver for Ferrari. If they back him 100%

Lewis Hamilton detailing his focus on the bigger picture; on 2027. "I don't think everything's going to get squashed and sorted out in one meeting, but it is importantwhat we build now will put us in the right position for next year, and in some ways I'm glad we've had that experience. Of course, rather we had won and had a 1-2, but from that you can learn and we can only really get stronger from that, I think." "And I think in the background, you know, we've got these incredible people that are working so hard in the background. Of course, we know we've been on a bit of the back foot on power this year, but the natural car has been phenomenal all year, great reliability, and every day I go out on track, I'm always thinking of getting the absolute maximum for them. I don't always achieve it, and from that you learn." "I think with the years and experience, you understand the bigger picture when you're getting to work with such a large group of people, and that's, I would say that's the privilege of where I've, the years that I've spent here, and the teams that I've got towork in, and I really do believe that next year we could win, we could be fighting for worldchampionship. That is the sole goal." "So right now, in the background, my focus is on continuing to hold on to the performance we've picked up in the last few races in terms of execution, and then working on next year's car. I obviously can't do anything about the engine except for just push them and they'll continue to push in the background, I believe they are, but the car, it's steering it, making sure we're steering in the right direction and making sure we arrive next year on the right foot, and then Fred's job is to make sure that we are all running in the same direction." "Of course we're going to race hard, but fair and making sure that we get the maximum and the best result for the team." F1 2026 | Brazil | Sky Sports UK

'I'm not gonna be silenced. I've never ever been silenced.' Lewis Hamilton: "I don't really care how everyone feels about what I've said. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I say how I feel in the moment. "I did see something that someone was saying that the things that I'm saying are calculated, and I just want to combat that with the fact that when you're in the race, your heartrate is like 170. You're driving 200 miles an hour. You don't have time to be calculated in what you're saying and thinking about what the media are going to write about, you don't think about that." "Of course, there's some times you say things and maybe you might regret it afterwards, but I don't, and I'm never going to apologise for being authentic and real. I'm not gonna be silenced. I've never ever been silenced. I have not been asked to not say anything [by the team], and that's just the way it is." F1 2026 | Brazil | Photo by Clive Rose

🚨| Lewis Hamilton: "I was frustrated, I'm still frustrated. Conversations need to be had. So we will have those when the time permits. Fred's been back in Europe at the team. Obviously, Charles is working with his family. We had an opportunity to win for the team. The team have done such an amazing job in bringing upgrades this year. They've been working flat out all year long to try and bridge the gap given the power that we have." "I think they've done an incredible job. We've made lots of changes in how we deliver on our weekend. You've really seen us taking some leaps and bounds, and we've scored more points than any other team in the last three races, three or four. We could have easily had a one-two. So we definitely have to work towards making sure that doesn't happen again." F1 2026 | Brazil | Photo by Bradley Collyer

Mind you, Lewis has held his tongue for a long while. But we're at the end of the season now, this bs has to be addressed before going into the new season. If Fred won't come willingly, Lewis has to drag it through the media and be honest.
🚨| Lewis Hamilton was 'asked whether he feels Charles Leclerc races him more aggressively than other drivers.' His response: "Yes." When pressed to elaborate: "I can't say more. If you look at the teammates, it's the same with Sebastian. It's the same with Carlos."
