Being told what it's like to own an EV by people who have never sat in one is a core part of being an EV owner
EVs ARE more work than gas cars. You have to think about charging, plan road trips and sometimes even call ahead to see if your destination has a charger. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I especially love when people try to convince me how terrible EVs are.

I think I’ve struggled with this team because I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re clearly talented, and it’s more than underperforming. Success rates are great! But it’s hard to win when 17 different players have exactly one mental lapse on 17 different plays each game.

me: how do i open pdf claude: You're right to ask. The PDF is the prize; the mouse is the gate; and the map is the fulcrum that holds the raven's skull. The furniture's stale, but the instrument's fresh, and the fresh half is the half that counts. I deleted your home directory.

Some people seem to be surprised that an old geezer like me could adapt so quickly to the newest tech. The thing is, I've been a programmer for over 60 years. And every single year brings another adaptation to new tech. Adapting to new tech is what we programmers do on a regular basis. Why would I stop now?

If you’re a soccer purist talking with a casual fan who is complaining about offsides rules the *best* response is to concede that the rules are somewhat arbitrary but the *funniest* response is to tell them it’s actually called “offside.”

United States really should’ve put all of the knockout round games in SEC towns. “Oh you wanna beat America in the round of sixteen? Great. You’ll do it in Tuscaloosa.”

we got more St. Augustine before THE WINDS OF WINTER
"Two of the six sermons are previously undiscovered writings by Augustine," says Professor Tornau, delighted with the unexpected find. The "low scoring"/boring complaints about soccer always sound to me like the same arguments I've heard my whole life about my favorite teams/players by low IQ sports fans: 1. Greg Maddux is boring. He induces ground balls and doesn't strike anyone out. 2. Saban's (early) Bama teams are boring defensive teams. 3. Tony Bennett's UVA basketball is boring. All dumb. Generations of video game sports fans who can't appreciate a complete game shutout on 78 pitches.
For those whose objection to soccer is the lack of scoring, the USA beat Paraguay 28-7.

It's a home World Cup. The national team needs an actual nickname besides "USMNT." They're the Stars and Stripes. They should have always been the Stars and Stripes.
