Europeans please wake up.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

apple shipping a worse version of @orbstack is nice validation :) we have way lower memory usage and better integrations
honored to have coined the term 'machines' (not VMs) for this type of primitive
One of my personal favorite features announced at WWDC will I suspect be a sleeper hit: container machines, allowing your Mac to run a lightweight, persistent Linux environment with your home directory and repos automatically mounted: github.com/apple/container/b…
I am truly sorry for my behavior and attitude toward the ICF/ICS members in the past year and even years prior.
Disappointment or disapproval is one thing, whether founded or not. Acting out is something else entirely and only hurts everyone around, not to mention unbecoming.
I have used Go.Skip.Build and it is an excellent product. Barry and Mag never deserved my jabs. I wish them the best with the Cosmos enterprise angle.
I am also sorry for my past political rants. It's not really my place to comment on them and I have my own project, employees, and community to look out for. Prejudice and assumptions were declared as facts partially because if my ignorance and hubris. But more importantly we are told to love even our enemies (not that anyone in particular is). What I projected was not love but fear and anger.
I hope that with the coming gno.land mainnet and through the following years to have an opportunity to demonstrate my true repentance toward becoming a different person and leader.
Not trying to gain anything out of this remark, only memorializing a disavowal of my past communications. God bless.
Introducing Claude Opus 4.6. Our smartest model got an upgrade.
Opus 4.6 plans more carefully, sustains agentic tasks for longer, operates reliably in massive codebases, and catches its own mistakes.
It’s also our first Opus-class model with 1M token context in beta.
Effect, my favorite typescript package of all time, now has the best interactive tutorial ever: effect.institute
This marks a huge milestone. With Sui now live, Union's IBC implementation now supports three execution environments! EVM, CosmWasm, and Move!
Huge props to @aeryz2 and @kaancaglan for making this happen.
Union has added @SuiNetwork to the testnet app.
Come test the ZK-secured, trustless connection bringing Sui into Union’s growing network.
Another step toward linking the fastest ecosystems in crypto 🧵 ↓
Also props to @0xbonlulu and @zkqlp for building the world's most modular relaying and indexing systems!

You like Zed Industries? Their early work (Atom) was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Zed came out in ’21, I think they really came into their own, technically and artistically. The whole GPUI layer has a clear, crisp execution, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the product a big boost. They’ve been compared to VS Code forks, but I think Zed has a far more low-level, GPU-driven approach.
Ty all for joining us!
zkgm, enjoy these last months of the year!
