😢Ryū Murakami, the Japanese novelist, artist and filmmaker best known for authoring the critically acclaimed counterculture novel "Almost Transparent Blue," has died. He was 74. Murakami died Oct. 17 at his home in Tokyo, his longtime publisher, Gentosha, announced on its website Friday, Oct. 23. The publisher, in a statement written in Japanese, said his family had already held funeral services and that they "respectfully" decline "condolence money, floral tributes, condolence telegrams, and memorial offerings." The statement also requests privacy for the family.

Mach‘s gut, Bachkanal! 🫶🏼

After Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels dissolved, Mitch formed a new band called simply Detroit. Grand Funk Railroad's is still my favorite cover of "Gimme Shelter" but this one's close, real close. Produced by Bob Ezrin! (Alice Cooper, KISS, Lou Reed) youtu.be/kJ9vlZOQIy8?si=jP0Q…
