It just truly hit me that right now, we're waiting for a jury to decide if an ex-president is guilty of unlawfully influencing the election he won in 2016 - a case his political opponent's own Justice Department declined to prosecute.
We're also waiting for the Supreme Court majority he created to decide if he's immune from prosecution for trying to overturn the election he lost in 2020.
This candidate is currently leading the race for president in 2024.

Ashli Babbitt is NOT a bad person.
Ashli Babbitt IS a victim.
Ashli Babbitt broke the law, and was legally killed. That doesn't mean she deserves to have died.
Ashli Babbitt was a victim of lies. She fell for the lies told by Donald Trump, his associates, and much of the media. She truly believed that what she was doing was for the good of America.
She was wrong and she paid the consequences. It's incredibly unfortunate, and it's extremely sad that she lost her life.

Eastman devised a plan to create 7 false slates of electors for Pence to choose on Jan 6th.
Trump pressured the DoJ to send a fake letter to states falsely claiming they found election fraud to pressure them into changing their votes.
Trump pressured Pence to unilaterally throw out some states' EC votes to declare him the president.
Trump, Giuliani and Eastman took advantage of the chaos during the J6 riots and made multiple calls to senators and congressmen encouraging them to delay the election certification due to pressure from rioters outside.
