Muslims that are DEFENDING their mosques and communities ARE NOT rioting.
Muslims are not attacking hotels that are housing migrants.
Muslims are not targeting places of worship.
Muslims are not burning Citizens Advice and libraries.
Muslims are not smashing up people’s homes, cars and businesses.
Muslims are not attacking police officers.
Muslims are not looting Greggs, Shoe Zone and phone shops.
Muslims are not chanting racist and religious slurs.
Mobs of far-right thugs and racist yobs are rioting, not Muslims.
Nice try, but no — this really isn’t a case of “both sides are rioting”.
Thanks to Sara (respect!) and all those who have supported the creation of the Guides. We hope that it helps improve inclusive communications.

Last week, I was announced as the 2024 Industry Legend by bme pr pros (theprosawards.com/). It was a fantastic night as I was recognised for my #Diversity work in the UK PR world.
The hardest part? Keeping it secret from Lesley,my wife, but the look on her face was worth it

A lot of people worked very hard to achieve this for the CIPR and its members. The impact will be felt for a long time ...
What a fantastic achievement. Thanks to a huge number of people, notably Claire Bloomer and @SpotRachel who led this work and the @CIPRdiversity team including @140Okay and @cornucopuia.

This is a major milestone for the CIPR to be recognised, supported and celebrated. There is still a lot more work to do but this strategy means others have a better idea of how they can help carry the load.
We are proud to launch our first Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (#EDI) strategy, outlining our plans and commitment to drive change inside the CIPR and within and beyond the PR industry.

Last night's 'No Turning Back 2020' event next to White Hart Lane Stadium showcased four of their 'ambassadors' sharing their experiences of getting into PR. Powerful, personal statements which unfortunately echoed the issues which have plagued the industry for decades.

What desperately sad news. Like so many I knew Francis from his time at both @CIPR_Global and the @PRCA_HQ but in a chat over drinks he told me of his work at my local hospital, North Middlesex. My thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at this sad time.
Today the PRCA Board has been informed that Francis Ingham has passed away after a short illness. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
