Yes. Writing (any kind of writing, fiction and nonfiction) is the only hobby I’ve ever had that I’ve ever really felt passionate about. I even enjoy legal writing and writing briefs, etc. is probably the only aspect of being a lawyer that I like.

atp i’m spending more time in professional writing spaces than in fanfic spaces and that’s exactly why i don’t buy this β€œit’s just advice” bs most of the time. the way β€œwriting advice” tends to be presented in fandom these days is NOT how it’s presented in professional spaces.
