I texted my children that we got the puppy they’ve been begging me for and sent them a link with pictures. 🐶When they clicked on the link, it took them to a webpage that said YOU’RE GROUNDED. They’ll be spending the weekend retaking our family’s cybersecurity training course.

For @TheAthletic: Much like their defense at the start of last season, the Hurricanes’ forwards have been ravaged by injuries. They’re managing to stay atop the standings anyway — again. nytimes.com/athletic/7714571…

Hurricanes again deftly navigate injuries in a ‘no-one-feels-sorry-for-you league’

Carolina has been plowing forward despite being without a third of its normal complement of forwards.

Mercer, Noesen, Rodriguez gets the Devils there dollar-wise. Obviously, Winnipeg would also want picks/prospects to go with that.

I wonder if the #Isles have looked at Nino Niederreiter as a potential salary-offset piece if they get involved in a Hellebuyck trade. Niederreiter is in the final year of his three-year deal carrying a $4 million AAV.

Will see where Hellebuyck goes. I wonder if #Isles are somehow involved in brokering the deal between #GoJetsGo and whatever team he lands with. WPG scouts have been at last two NYI home games.
