I got tired of juggling six game launchers, so I built one.
Irori puts Epic, GOG, Amazon, itch, Steam and your emulators in one native app for Linux, macOS and Windows. About 88 MB of RAM, no Electron.
Free and open source. A ⭐ helps a solo dev a lot:

Tried it. BEST game launcher so far! Love to see more GPUI Apps here!

Irori stands on great open source: @zeddotdev's GPUI draws the UI, @HeroicLauncher and legendary paved the way for Epic and GOG, and @libretro's RetroArch powers the ROM library. Thank you 🧡

What should we add next? 👇

Your ROMs live in the same library. Irori installs emulators and RetroArch cores for you, picks the right one per system, and tracks RetroAchievements.

0.4 added a lot:
• Mod manager (Thunderstore, Nexus Mods, FOMOD)
• Achievements across stores
• Save backups for every game
• Sync between your computers
• A Year in review for your playtime

Windows games just run. Wine, Proton and umu on Linux; Wine, CrossOver and Game Porting Toolkit on macOS. DXVK, VKD3D, gamescope and per-game settings are a click away, and there's an optional sandbox for games you don't trust.

Big Picture turns it into a console. Six Home layouts, themes you can share, and full controller support. Made for the couch, the TV and the Steam Deck.

Sockudo has a new home 🚀
We rebuilt sockudo.io on @astrodotbuild: static, fast and fully 3D, with Three.js scenes, 37 animated diagrams rendered at build time, and Pagefind search.
68 docs pages, rewritten and checked against the Rust source.
sockudo.io
Search is Pagefind on the static build. Every page also ships as raw .md, plus llms.txt and llms-full.txt for AI agents.
68 pages rewritten and checked against the Rust source.
Huge thanks to the @astrodotbuild team for making this a joy 💜

The homepage runs three Three.js scenes, loaded only when they scroll into view:
• a core fanning messages out to sockets
• a scroll-driven cluster: publish → fanout → recover
• a globe of live message arcs

Diagrams are plain Mermaid in MDX, rendered at build time inside an Astro remark plugin:
• sequence diagrams → animated HTML
• flowcharts → SVG laid out with ELK
37 diagrams, no client-side Mermaid.

We've been early adopters of Rust since 2018 and a lot of our infra, voice tech, and even some of the current client is already Rust, the holy grail was getting the whole client there. That means Electron goes away, and so does React Native, mobile keeps native UI but shares app code with desktop via Rust. We hope to get it into testing with users soon™. (And it's not Tauri, it's GPUI, so good guess everyone.)
Alright, back to staring at the WoW Forever login screen.
