We are very glad to hear Chef @GordonRamsay is OK after his frightening bike fall. Helmets absolutely save lives. Thank you for sharing your experience, Chef Ramsay. Wishing you a quick and full recovery. Always wear a helmet if you are riding a bike, scooter, or hoverboard.
Always wear a helmet. Sit it evenly between your ears and flat on your head. Wear it low on your forehead 2 finger widths above your eyebrows. Tighten the chin strap* and adjust the pads inside for a snug and secure fit. This is specific to bicycle helmets. Helmets are a one-time use product. Replace your helmet after impact. Check the label to make sure your helmet meets CPSC standards.

An important #FathersDay message from me…WEAR A HELMET ! This week I had a bad accident while riding my bike in CT. I'm doing ok and I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at @LMHospital who looked after me but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Be Safe

If you've lost power in California and are using a portable generator, make sure your carbon monoxide alarms are working. Carbon monoxide is a deadly gas you can't see or smell. It can kill within minutes.

After a storm passes the danger is not over. If you've lost power and are using a portable generator, make sure your generator is outdoors - at least 20 feet away from your home and that you have a working carbon monoxide alarm.
