When leaving home for work, vacation, or other activities, the last thing anyone expects is to return and find their home has been broken into. Break and enters can have a significant impact on victims, resulting in the loss of valuable property, personal documents, and a sense of security. By taking a few simple preventative measures, residents can help make their homes less attractive targets for thieves.

Students from seven Port Coquitlam schools ran more than 10 km and raised over $43,000 through their Running Terryโs Money Home event. #CoquitlamRCMP was proud to support the event, helping ensure student safety as participants crossed major roadways along a route that connected seven local schools, with more students joining the run before reaching Terry Fox Secondary School.
The energy, teamwork, and determination shown by these students were truly remarkable. Watching the community come together in honour of Terry Foxโs legacy was inspiring, and we couldnโt be prouder of everyone who helped make this event such a success. โค๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐
