Pat Murphy began his coaching career at DIII Maryville College.
After 6 years at the DIII level, he talked his way into the head coach job at Notre Dame, spending 7 years there before taking over at Arizona State, leading ASU to the college World Series 4 times in 15 years.
He then spent 5 years coaching in the minor leagues for the Padres before being named to the Brewers Major league staff, taking over as manager in 2024.
In his tenure as a big league manager, he’s twice (likely with a 3rd on the way) won manager of the year, became the first coach to lead a team to the CWS and MLB World Series, became the oldest manager to make his World Series debut and now is a World Series champion, bringing Milwaukee their first title.
What a journey for Pat Murphy

THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP BELONGS TO MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Double up on cash being a dum dum idiot.
Caminero on deck with a Reliever losing the zone. But let’s run ourselves out of another inning.
What a terrible steal call. Best hitter up down one and you take the bat out of his hands to move him from scoring position to scoring position. Never make the third out on third.

Alright Braves fans, listen up. Tomorrow’s game 1, let me break it down for you.
You got 9 innings.
You got 3 outs an inning.
That’s 27 outs.
But the Braves only need 1 more run than the Dodgers, so you take 27, subtract 1, add the 9 innings, carry the 2 and the Dodgers’ chances of winning just dropped to 33⅓%.
Then you add the Braves home run power to the mix, and their chances go up another 25%.
But the Dodgers KNOW they gotta come through Atlanta to get where they’re going, so you take their 33⅓%, cut it in half, and now they got a 16⅔% chance of surviving.
Braves got 83⅓%.
Dodgers got 16⅔%.
And if you don’t understand the math, don’t worry about it.
THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE, AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR L.A.
CHOP ON!
Mark Jackson’s”Allow me to have this dance” might be the best nba call that’s not a late game commentary call
Red Sox were one of the coldest teams in ball.
Phillies were one of the coldest teams in ball.
Padres were one of the hottest teams in ball.
Maybe we just don’t overthink things in the wild card round.

Sick dude. You are a legend.
Those that think Cam Schlitter should be MVP need some Schlit in their mouths to shut them up about it.
