🔷 What exactly is the Oracle Protocol?
The Oracle Protocol is MarsChain’s price-triggered deflation mechanism.
While the Christmas Protocol activates every year on a fixed date, the Oracle Protocol only wakes up when the market takes a serious hit.
Activation conditions:
- $MARS falls about 50% from its recorded All-Time High
- The price stays at that level for 7 consecutive days
Once both conditions are met, the protocol opens an 8-day execution window**.
🔷 How does it actually work?
Inside that 8-day window, two things happen at the same time:
1. The protocol targets a burn of roughly **35% of the circulating $MARS supply**.
2. Users who choose to participate by burning $MARS receive a permanent hashpower multiplier (recent cycles have used 20×).
The tokens you burn are permanently removed from circulation.
The hashpower you receive stays with you forever and increases your share of future mining rewards under Proof of Contribution.

Participation is fully voluntary.
When the window opens:
- Open the official Mars Wallet
- Follow the instructions shown in the app
- Burn the required amount of $MARS
- Receive the permanent hashpower multiplier

there is so much going on in the <30B model post-training space (especially with the growing focus on consumer applications).
a lab recently did some interesting work adding MLA (from DeepSeek) to Qwen3.8 27B to hillclimb on benchmarks. given that they are also working on brain-AI interfaces, it makes a lot of sense to finetune models of this class to make them faster + less verbose.
i also think open-source environments are a pretty good starting point these days for getting into model post-training at scale, especially when the goal is to focus on specific capabilities that align with broader RnD efforts.
One of the hardest parts of using any trading system is the black box feeling. You receive a signal or a suggestion and have no clear way to understand the reasoning behind it.
