8 games in. 6-2 record. A lot of football still ahead.
A few highlights from my junior season so far. Grateful for my teammates, coaches, and every opportunity to compete.
Big game ahead this week. Everything we've worked for is right in front of us 💪

Players: Somebody with less talent than you is making it harder to leave him out of the lineup.
He shows up early. Runs hard when nobody’s timing him. Takes coaching without an excuse.
Talent opens the door. Your habits decide how long you stay.
It's Monday, and a hungrier dog is coming for your bone.. GET to work 💪

Your spring role is being earned right now.
Stack good days. Get stronger. Earn your coach’s trust. Become someone your teammates can count on.
Consistent work compounds.
October habits have a way of showing up in April. ⚾️

Tough result last night. Back to work.
Here's a few of my highlights from last night.
We’re 4-2 with four games left and a playoff spot to chase.
Time to respond. 🏈

Good morning. ⚾️👇
Somewhere this fall, a player who sat the bench last spring is working like he plans to take somebody’s job.
If you’re that player, keep going.
If you’re the starter, understand that last year’s lineup doesn’t guarantee next year’s spot.
Get to work 💪

“Count the cost.”
I heard that in church this morning, and it stuck with me.
Everybody wants the outcome.
The scholarship.
The starting job.
The championship.
The opportunity.
The dream.
But have you counted the cost?
Early mornings.
Late nights.
Missing things your friends are doing.
Training when you’re tired.
Failing publicly.
Being coached hard.
Doing the boring work.
Stacking days when nobody is watching.
Dreams are easy to talk about.
The cost is paid when talking stops.
If you say you want something badly…
Make sure your habits prove you’re willing to pay for it. ⚾️

2028 Grads, Aug. 1 is right around the corner.
A little advice:
• Be grateful for every opportunity.
• Ask a lot of questions.
• Remember: your recruiting timeline is your timeline, not anyone else's.
Find the right fit. The rest will take care of itself. ⚾️

It's been a baseball season to remember.
HS ball, summer tournaments, showcase events, and especially the @PrepBaseball Future Games.
Grateful for every opportunity, every lesson, and everyone who's been part of the journey.

Here's some advice for ANY young ballplayer...
Slow down.
Enjoy the ride.
Don't take this game, or the opportunities it gives you for granted.
Next season isn't promised to ANYONE. ⚾️🙌

One of the biggest mistakes I see in recruiting... 👇
Young players acting like certain opportunities are "beneath" them.
A chance to play college baseball...at the NCAA Division I, II, III, JUCO, or NAIA level - is something very few people ever get.
Someone believes in you.
Someone is willing to invest time, money, coaching, and a roster spot in your future.
That's not something to take for granted.
That's something to be humbled by.
Be grateful. Keep developing. Keep earning.
The logo on the jersey doesn't determine how far you'll go.
Your work ethic, development, and performance does. ⚾️

Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸
Growing up in a one-stoplight town in Pennsylvania, I never could've imagined where this game would take me.
Baseball gave me a dream. America gave me the opportunity to chase it.
I'll never stop being grateful for the freedom to pursue that dream, positively impact others, and give back to the game that's given me so much.
God Bless America. 🙌🇺🇸🎆
