Today's #readingfc v #stags programme is one of my favourite designs, simple but great content, this October 1973 match ended 3-0 thanks to a Les Chappell hat-trick, would love another (winning) HT tonight @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

Next up is the hunt for probably one of the rarest match worns of the last 35 years.
The ORIGINAL yellow & red third shirt 👀
I have a replica, but I *need* the match worn 🤤

League football is back and today's #readingfc v #hatters programme dates from March 1969, manager Roy Bentley has just left and we were headed for 14th, 1-1 draw (Silvester) but didn't help Luton much either as they finished 3rd (to Watford's first) @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

It's October 1985 and #readingfc are about to set a record for most consecutive wins at the start of a season at #ncafc, here's the programme for that match and also the match ticket (note different ground at the time) @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

Today's #readingfc non-league pre-season friendly programme dates from 1974, at Hayes (of the Isthmian League, which is now two levels below today's opposition), played as part of the signing of one Robin Friday, was he any good? @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie @OldRoyalsStuff

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of our former Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan.
Eamonn remains one of the most respected figures in the history of our football club.
Joining the club in 2004, he played a crucial role in laying the foundations of our academy as we see it today.

Finally it's the end of the season, this #readingfc v #utmp also dates from end of the season in 1952 but it's a testimonial for 4 long standing players, 2-4 loss is annotated. enjoy the summer, programmes will be back next season @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

Last #readingfc away programme of this season at #rufc, who were the eventual champions of the division so no shame in a 0-2 reverse, two future Reading managers in their ranks, safe travels one more time @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

Just four pages for this Division Three (South) South Cup #readingfc v #bluebirds programme from April 1946 (but still better than we get today), it was a 3-2 home win (Galloway, Edelston, MacPhee) in front of 9,654 @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie @OldRoyalsStuff

Today's pocket sized #readingfc v #imps dates from April 1962, last home match of the season and a 4-0 win (Lacey 2, Wheeler, Allen) leading to a 7th placed finish, happy 106 day @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie @RCouhig

50 years ago today Dad (RIP) and I stood on the Town End at Elm Park and saw this #readingfc match, including THAT Robin Friday goal. 1 of many great memories over many years of watching Reading, hopefully more still to come @RCouhig (we met Saturday), @TheTilehurstEnd @cribsie

A #readingfc v #pafc programme from a match that lives long in the memory, 0-3 down on 65 minutes but ended up winning 4-3 (Horrix, Senior 2 and 'Mad Max' Bremner), a memorable season as well! Tough one today but 🤞 @TheTilehurstEnd @STARReading @cribsie

March 1971 for today's #pvfc v #readingfc programme, 1-3 defeat (Terry Bell) in front of only 3,450 fans, generally low crowds in what was to be our last season in Division 3 for 5 years, hope the weather holds today and safe travels to all @TheTilehurstEnd @STARReading @cribsie xitter.cf/HertsRoyal/status/2025…
