This post goes some way to explaining the dire financial straits the UK is in... "Britain has almost run out of taxpayers, or at the very least, it’s slowly running out of people who pay enough taxes to plausibly finance the state." "...in 1998, about 43 per cent of British earners paid sufficient tax to cover the Government’s average per-capita spending. During Covid, that figure fell to an absolute low of circa 20 per cent, then by 2025 recovered modestly to 26.6 per cent." No wonder if fewer than 27% of people are net contributors to the state It's stats like this that make me want to leave. Big new project in the US in the next few months might be just the springboard I need @griffitha @LiamHalligan open.substack.com/pub/ieains…

TPUK has their own Agent 47?
🚨🇬🇧 Turning Point UK's CEO was filmed offering an undercover reporter a menu of beatings, stabbings and killings through a Glasgow contact who says he arms the UVF Al Jazeera’s undercover operation started in 2021 when a reporter joined the British offshoot of the American student group. Its CEO Jack Ross, a Conservative candidate in 2023, introduced the reporter to Allan Nesbitt, a convicted criminal and self-described UVF member, agreed on camera to pay him to stage a fake pro-Zimbabwe rally, and priced out what Nesbitt’s friends could do to a person, from cutting faces to MURDER. The UVF is the Ulster Volunteer Force, a Protestant loyalist paramilitary from Northern Ireland’s Troubles that killed over 500 people between 1966 and 1999, including 33 in one day in the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, and is still banned as a terror group. Since the peace deal it has run mostly as a drug gang that kept the name and the guns. Nesbitt reportedly met the reporter in a London hotel, offered to have a fictional business rival “finished,” claimed he’d personally stabbed a man to death, showed a shotgun and pistol on a video call and said the fee would buy weapons smuggled from Scotland into Northern Ireland. Ross says it was a joke. The joke came with a price list, a weapons demo and a smuggling route, and the police now have a name and a video... and wasn't particularly funny. Somebody in Turning Point UK’s donor base should be asking when the fundraising dinners turned into this. Source: Al Jazeera / Writer: Daniel

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Criminals are LHC with rightoid tendencies. They are an enemy of EHC, queerness+globalism. The most rightoid place in any country is in its prisons. Macho culture, religious fundamentalism, obsession with "honour", homophobia, sexism, veneration of violence etc all thrive there.
Violent crime is solvable, you can either summarily jail (El Salvador) or you can just kill (Caracas) a lot of the likely criminals.

The wonders of globalism!
🚨#BREAKING: Absolutely WILD footage has emerged from Atlanta where an apartment complex now uses "robot security dogs" to patrol the area at night. The robot dogs also seem to speak in Indian accents to the residents. I've never seen anything like this before... insane!!!

The Americans are finding out about Motability. 🤭
This @WSJ piece on the UK's runaway disability benefits is something else. Great color from @MaximColch & @davidluhnow

The absolute state of the Yookay.
Excellent article in the Wall Street Journal on Britain's unsustainable welfare spending: — 7 million people (over 10% of the UK population) now claim at least one or more sickness or disability benefit. This is up 60% in the past 6 years. — The UK will spend over £100 billion pound this year on sickness and disability benefits. This is projected to increase to £130 billion a year by 2030. — No other Western country has seen such a rise in disability claims. In the US, 10.6 million people claim some form of federal disability payment, despite the population being 5x larger. — 1 in 7 new cars sold in the UK are under the Motability scheme; however, only 10% of cars are modified for a disability. In one dealership, 25 out of 26 cars they sold in August were all under the Motability scheme. — Charities, consultants, YouTubers and TikTokers have all sprung up, telling people how to maximise benefit access. Some of these videos receive hundreds of thousands of views. Over 1,000 people a day are signing on for PIP. — According to a Government survey from 2024, 25% of the UK's working age population could theoretically be classed as disabled under the current criteria and access these benefits. — A minimum wage worker who works 40 hours per week would take home around £1,880 per month after tax; however, if you are classed as too sick to work and claim PIP, you can take home £2,000 tax free per month. wsj.com/world/uk/united-king…

From an instrumentalist utilitarian perspective, which provided more value to the world: the tiger or the person who jumped in the enclosure?
67
This is actually a fringe opinion. To their credit normies love animals and hate people misbehaving. I've been browsing and Facebook they're unanimously saying stuff like "I hope the tiger is okay".
I would kill that tiger to save basically any human being, even the ones I hate, the only exception perhaps being an enemy combatant. I cannot relate to the performative concern for the tiger’s welfare. An actual person died a bloody and terrified death, that’s the tragedy here.

If you didn't figure this out the first time you saw National Conservatism come onto the scene then you really need your head examining. It's really not that complicated.

EHC 💯 gem 💎 right here. The average normie today is far closer in psychology, intelligence, and ethical and moral development to the bloodthirsty crowds who brayed for blood at the Colosseum 2000 years ago than they are to people like Altman or Dario.
I don't understand why people believe this? The AGI elites(with unfortunately a few bad and very notable exceptions that I will explain below) are more moral then normies. Normie run ai would be way worse. @akarlin
