Not sure if it's a total shitpost or just partial one, but military applications of robots will be and remain fully teleoperated till the end times.
Proud to say that as of today, @crowdbrainai has the biggest, most trained and most geodistributed workforce of teleoperators while having the best infra and pipeline for it.

We’re launching the Army of Robots.
In 2022, we launched the Army of Drones. Today, drones account for over 95% of battlefield strikes, and Ukraine has more than 700 UAV manufacturers.
Now we need the next technological breakthrough: the robotization of warfare.
The goal is simple — save lives. Robots should take on the most dangerous missions: evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, mining and demining, reconnaissance, defending positions and engaging targets.
The Army of Robots is not one company. It’s an ecosystem. We will invest in defense tech companies, launch our own technology projects, test them with the military and scale what works on the battlefield.
We’re now looking for defense tech companies and engineers working on robotic technologies — as well as a CTO / Tech Lead for the Army of Robots.

The pipe dream of a robot keeping your house clean and tidy may need to wait a little longer. We caught up with Nika from @crowdbrainai who mentioned general-purpose home robots by 2030 is almost certainly not happening as getting from 95% accuracy to 99% accuracy is a completely different problem to getting from 0% to 95%. They are working on approaches for the final 5% no one has worked out yet.

Today we are unveiling the first truly accessible RL robot - welcome Microduck
A 25 cm tiny open-source biped with 15 actuators and packed with sensors (camera, speaker, LiDAR, NFC, bluetooth, wifi, etc) that you train yourself with reinforcement learning.
It's also playable out of the box with more than half a dozen fun and playful pre-trained policies to have it walk, sit, crouch, roller-skate, pick up objects with its articulated beak, and recover on its own.
And all for less than $400.
