Love touring, love audiences loving the shows. But Feeling v frustrated by stifling my replies to those that want to see us as to why we are not performing at/in some venues/towns/cities we have for years. How do we explain its because programmers don’t programme/ghost/cancel?

I’m looking for 2 young female or female identifying performers in Oxford who might be available this week wed-sat for a little pre show paid performance opportunity with @1927productions
Practicalities:
Ideally aged 18-25, female or female identifying.
Fee; real living wage + travel expenses + tix to see the show.
Need to be able to fit into the costumes which are U.K. size 10-12!

We had a fantastic time exploring creativity while making some wonderful stops motion animation. We used the theme of Children Heard and Seen 10th birthday, and will later share the finished animation piece

of a rollercoaster against the odds with no support. But somehow we did it and bloody hell it’s a Beauty! So happy it’s out in the world & I am so lucky to work with THE best team there is!!

Finally someone inside the arts council acknowledging the importance of touring - U.K & international. Peripatetic practice is not in opposition to place based work. It is part of it. Touring is broken though. Investment is vital - U.K & international
