If you're waiting for the perfect time to do something, you're going to keep waiting forever. If God is prompting you to do something, do it.
"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." - Ecclesiastes 11:4
The disciples were always asking about it (Mark 9:33-37, Mark 10:35-45). There's probably some other growth plans that look like maximizing your ROI or making sure other people know you're the boss. Jesus' leadership plan looked a lot different.
He modeled it in many ways, even bending down to wash the stinky feet of guys who were walking all day (John 13:1-17).
The world tells you fake it ‘till you make it. Religion says to work harder.
Jesus says something entirely different: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
"Wisdom isn’t just having book-learning, street smarts, emotional intelligence, financial acuity or spiritual depth. It’s more than all that."

Something we forget is that God’s rules are actually FOR you.
Discipline=freedom.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”- Galatians 5:1
“Those who don’t learn history are doomed to repeat it.”
