Some news to share:
After serving as CEO the past couple years, I’m moving into the role of Chairman of the Board, and @mfigge will become Yuga’s next CEO.
Figge is the absolute best person for the job. There’s no one I trust more to lead Yuga through this next chapter.
He’s relentless about product quality, he thinks longterm, and he knows how to take a vision and make it real. His work on Otherside the past year is proof of that, and you haven’t seen the half of it.
And I’ve loved watching Figge get his hands dirty in the world of BAYC over the last few weeks. The club is better for it.
Creative direction, writing, and figuring out insane ideas is still where I do my best work. And with Figge taking over the CEO role, I get to go back to it. I can’t wait for what Yuga builds next.

It’s pretty dope to work w/ @mfigge on @MnemeFoundation and @LACMA bc we learn so much about how he sees culture, product and production. He’s so committed to the world of digital art and I’m sure that others will be inspired to get off the sidelines and join the movement as he has!
have been spending a lot of time working as a part of @LACMA digital leadership group and very happy to share...
bayc, mayc, and more than 200 works represent the initial donation with works that explore the intersection of art and technology
spans six decades of the medium, from pioneering computer works of the 1960’s through the NFT era
assembled by artists, philanthropists, and technologists - supported by damDAO and Mneme Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to digital art, this initiative will further expand the museum’s role in shaping scholarship and discourse around digital culture, and aiming to become one of the most comprehensive collection of digital art in the world

Heads up because I'm seeing that question a lot: OpenSea will NOT show your totem in your wallet, because it's not there!
Each ape was given a 6551 wallet and the token is in that wallet.
Connect to mudwater.bayc.com/claim and you should see it. If you've issued a shadow delegation, connect the delegate wallet. It's there.

查尔斯顿 ApeFest 2026
猿节2026（缘结）
Representing my ppl here 🇨🇳
day 1 charleston apefest takeaways:
-way more people showed up than i expected.
-people traveled from asia, europe, dubai, and beyond. some took 3 connecting flights just to be here.
-reunions everywhere. nothing but good vibes.
-a surprising number of new apes.
-uber wait times are insane (10–20 mins), but monkeys just hang out and chat until their rides show up.
-barely anyone talks about floor price, which is honestly refreshing.
-depending on lifestyle and travel distance, people are spending anywhere from the cost of 1 mayc to 1 bayc just to be here.
-for ogs, getting together means more than the time and money it takes to make it happen.
apes are here because of the people.
rare.

I’m really excited to see what the 8 1/1s from mudwater go for, probably less than half will ever be opened.
When we designed the collectibility of this set, these 1/1s and serialized cards where a big focus.
tldr
BAYC packs to rip, in your wallet
on @solana
bummed I won’t be able to make it to ApeFest this year, but it’s for the absolute best reason possible: my wife is (heavily!) pregnant with a baby boy. Blessed beyond belief.
That said, been catching up a lot with @mfigge and @_PPMan_ and co and stoked for everything they have planned for Charleston and Beeple’s legendary space.
It’s going to be wild. 🦍
