Hey for everyone new i'm Cryptogit
Been over 9 years in this game and all im sharing here is in depth knowledge i wish i truly had when i started out
In my early days in 2016-2017 i was heavy into trading because most influencers online sold me the "dream of trading"
I honestly wasted so much time and money trying to become a successful trader then later i realized that the truly successful people in this industry either
1) built a business
or
2) held a coin for long term
I'm talking people in Forbes list (not just social media)
Once i started to apply that mentality i truly found more success on what i did
Last cycle i did over 200x in total and also called the top of the bull run. A screenshot of when i called BTC, ETH, NEO during the covid dip is exactly here and i got also many members that can vouch for what i do.
I'm not here to sell a dream. I'm here to show the reality and truly build a community that when i started out i didn't have
Also if you need me to review quickly the coins you're holding and get an opinion from me, send me a message i'll do my best to reach out and help you

Imagine a world where ETH is $20,000 and everyone online is arguing about whether a 2x is still possible at that market cap
Sit with that for a second. Then think about the regret of everyone who had years to buy and didn’t.
I know it sounds delusional
It already happened with Bitcoin
Tell someone at $700 that BTC hits $20,000. They’d laugh at you. Tell them $50,000 and they’d call you an idiot
Every number that looks absurd now looked absurd then too. That’s the whole pattern.
There is no other asset class right now offering this kind of asymmetry
Be grateful you’re early enough to be laughed at...
The biggest regret people will have in crypto will be:
- ETH going above 10K
- Altcoins skyrocketing
The reason for both is that 90% of people had almost 5 years to buy ETH and altcoins this cheap. If they soon see those things skyrocketing which I believe they will, the regret will eat people alive. Everyone had over 5 years to DCA and chose instead to fall for the manipulation, get bored, stay pessimistic and leave the market
I know everyone today wishes they could turn back time to 2021 because back then making money was so easy and most people missed it since the dips didn’t last long. But this time people had almost 5 years to DCA at these prices. 5 years is not something you can tolerate and find an excuse...
I constantly think about that and I think it’s my biggest fear. I constantly ask myself whether I have enough, and I don’t consider selling...I consider accumulating
Because the reality we all forget is that there’s nothing in life that offers the risk-to-reward ratio altcoins offer right now
Show me one other thing where you can risk an amount you can afford to lose for a shot at 30x or 50x
(just think about that)
not saying those will come but if you study the sentiment it will teach you a lot and contrarian investing is not 100% right but you will be often more right than wrong...interesting to see how the next few months will play out
The most contrarian moves in crypto right now
> ETH making a new ATH this year or early Q1 2027
> Altcoins skyrocketing before a huge crash which comes later in 2027
> All crowd joining when BTC is above 100K + without realising smth will break in 2027
i recently had a guy who saved over 100K+ from me because he already had an "unlimited USDC token approval" on an exchange which got almost hacked a few months ago. luckily this guy didn't have USDC in his wallet but over 100K in ETH, but the moment he would swap ETH back to USDC the hackers could drain his money
he literally told me "i have a ledger so i'm protected" and i explained exactly how a ledger will not save him at this time, because having an unlimited approval means that exchange that got hacked, if the hack is still there, they can take your money as you gave permission to take unlimited USDC from your wallets
i immediately told him to go and revoke permission to that contract and he did that and luckily saved over 100K at this time. he was planning to sell ETH over 5K which would have put him over 200K. he would have lost 200K+ just because of this minor mistake he never thought of
security, self custody audit, being up to date with current hacks, problems or bugs are something no one prepares for
and to be honest i have been over 9 years here and with all those AI improvements i still have to learn a new thing every day... i tell this for a fact, that a person who's not an expert in crypto will have it so hard in the upcoming years, and if you don't invest in communities or mentors or people you can trust and consult with, you will be left behind.
Most people only think about one thing in crypto: making money
But structuring your portfolio, holding the right assets, setting up proper self-custody, and securing your wallets before a hack hits are just as important and almost nobody prepares for them.
Think about it. The worst outcome is doing the hardest part, actually making the money, and then losing it all to a hack because you had no plan.
I recently helped someone in my community avoid exactly that, from a hack he'd never even heard of ...
These are things you need to plan before
Not after you have the money ...
Every AI attack on finance should just make you more bullish on crypto overall
If banks have a huge problem the US will have to bail them out
If something breaks in AI the US will have to bail that out too
Everything leads to money printing
What's going on this month in crypto is the perfect narrative to convince the four-year cycle crowd that they might be right and that waiting is still the correct move
It also pushes more doubt onto the people who were already invested and thought the bottom came sooner
The reality is that most people fall into the first category ... the ones who waited to buy this Q4
So don't be surprised if it's up only for a few months after this, especially if Trump wins the midterms
One common hack that will target every bank and everyone holding money on exchanges imo will be bots executing trades to drain their accounts
It already happened with a Schwab account a few days ago and most people never heard about it
Hackers got into an account on Friday, sold $49,000 of stock, and then tried to wire the rest to an account in Palm Springs ... the owner only found out on Monday morning
Everyone thinks of hacks as someone stealing your money, but this is another form of attack where they can send your balance to zero.
It's only going to get worse and you need a plan for how you store your money
Everyone who laughed at self-custody in crypto over the past few months and thought they were safe using only banks and centralized exchanges will have to learn this the hard way
Keep in mind there's nothing safe nowadays
Self-custody means if you don't properly learn what you're doing and you make a mistake, you lose everything but it's your responsibility
Holding on a CEX means you don't have to care, because they carry the responsibility. But sometimes if the worst happens, they might never recover your funds too
Right now your money is yours because you can spend it
That's the only reason
Add tokenization, digital ID and a scoring layer, and the question stops being how much you have
It becomes how much you're allowed to use
A balance you can't move isn't wealth
It's a number someone else controls
Greeks found that out at €60 a day
Banks shut for three weeks in 2015, every deposit untouched in every account and nobody could reach a cent of it
Cypriots found out above €100,000
In 2013 anything over that threshold was taken straight out of the accounts to bail out the banks
So if you don't prepare for what's coming, you'll always be left behind
An investing rule worth remembering
Whatever they want to accumulate, they trash first
Media coverage turns negative
Billionaires call it worthless
Hedge funds publish the bear case
Then the accumulation finishes and suddenly it's the future of finance
By then you're too late
Watch what they did to Bitcoin
Watch what's happening to Ethereum right now
Ask yourself why the most sophisticated institutions on earth spent a decade publicly calling Bitcoin worthless, then suddenly called it the future the moment the ETFs launched
Either they were wrong for ten years straight
Or they were accumulating behind the scenes while telling you the opposite
Which one do you think it is ?
The only method that has consistently worked in crypto is going against the crowd at tops and bottoms
There has never been a point in the history of crypto markets where the crowd called the top or the bottom correctly
So when you think you're close to one study the sentiment and it will show you a lot
Look at this summer. 90% of people were waiting to buy in October 2026 based on the four-year cycle
The crowd can be right on short-term moves
Right now, up or down, it doesn't matter much what the crowd expects
But on the biggest and most important moves like the tops and the bottoms following the crowd is the worst thing you can do
It's been verified on the chart at every top and bottom in crypto
the reality is that no one can stop whats coming
like it or not ... you can't change anything
imo the best approach is to make money through that
thats the only thing you have in control
Every new innovation comes with pros and cons
DeFi was amazing because it gave power back to the people
- People could get rich by finding the right coins
- People could be their own bank and manage everything themselves
BUT:
- People also got hacked and lost a ton of money because they didn't understand how it worked.
- People also lost their savings chasing yield from companies like BlockFi and Celsius.
Tokenization is the same playbook
- Upside in terms of making money
- Control of everything within one app
But don't forget the mass control that comes with it and how everything you do will be tracked

All this attack that happened in DeFi and crypto wallets this year is a clear representation whats coming soon for all the applications, software, web, banking etc
Usually the easiest thing to attack was blockchain
Everyone thought crypto was "dead" after that
Wait until you see how banks will suffer and most finance components will be targeted soon
Everyone thinking crypto is not safe will understand how banking and all finance word will suffer more than anything else
The people you need to study are the ones who were early on BTC and ETH
I always wonder how they managed to hold those coins
Holding is the hardest part, not finding it
I know a lot of people who found those coins and still didn't have the emotional control to handle the pressure and the volatility
Buying BTC in the early days was a shady process you could never trust. You either mined it by downloading an .exe file or you bought it on some random exchange like Mt. Gox
The whole world was against you, even if you believed in that coin. You sounded delusional, like an idiot.
Every millionaire and billionaire in finance laughed at you. Imagine how hard it was to handle that pressure and keep believing when the whole world was against you and you didn't know if BTC was ever going to work.
Same with Ethereum. How could you trust a coin at the ICO stage, where you had to send BTC to receive ETH? It looked like a scam. And you waited almost a year to receive anything ...
That's the vision and conviction you need to study.
Easy money will never teach you anything.
I went through the Forbes crypto list name by name because I wanted to test something
There are 19 people on it
Not one of them is a trader
17 of the 19 built their position before 2019 and never left
- The Winklevoss twins put Facebook settlement money into bitcoin in 2012 and never sold
- Chris Larsen and Jed McCaleb started Ripple in 2012. - Brian Armstrong started Coinbase in 2012
- Devasini, Ardoino and van der Velde have been inside Tether and Bitfinex since 2014
- Vitalik founded Ethereum 2014
- Silbert, DCG, 2013
- CZ bought BTC then founded Binance in 2017
Most people in 2021 made really great money due to QE (money printing). DeFi and NFTs were a huge boom and people got used to "easy money"
The problem with that is there's no one on the Forbes list who made their wealth after 2019. Maybe SBF could have been, but he's in jail. Michael Saylor too, but he didn't make his wealth from BTC, so it doesn't count either. Also founder of Hyperliquid i believe will get there.
And look what happened to the people who did make it big in 2021. Su Zhu and Kyle Davies ran Three Arrows Capital, around $10 billion, and were treated as the smartest guys in the industry. Liquidated in weeks. Mashinsky at Celsius, Do Kwon at Terra, same ending. Every one of them was on a rich list at some point. None of them are on it now.
The pattern is simple - 80% of the people on the Forbes list got rich in the pre-2019 and they got there by being early on BTC or by building a business
So all I'm trying to express here is that the only people who are wealthy in this industry made it from buying and holding, or from building a business. None of them was a trader. None of them had it easy, and none of them did it in a really short period of time
So everyone who only likes to trade today, understand that yes, you can make some money, but there's no way you build wealth that way or win the long-term game. The numbers and the data show it.
Crypto trading used to be so easy before 2022
The moment ETFs launched the manipulation started
You can clearly see BTC's movements on the chart
Crazy wicks to the downside and upside
Spotting a clear trend before 2022 was easy
You also didn't have the crazy wicks that destroy your position no matter whether you're right or wrong
Today trading against those institutions is hard
Even if you spot the right trend you'll lose money to scam wicks and manipulation
The good old days of trading were during the BitMEX era
OGs remember that
The hardest part for people after this year will be the realisation that the 4-year cycle doesn't determine where the market is headed next
Before this year everyone had a plan for how to play the cycle and everyone knew how crypto worked
This year will prove everyone wrong and make them more insecure about their next moves
Crypto changed the moment ETFs launched
You can't treat it like the same market it was before 2024
