My takeaway: I want India to build, compete and stay in control of the systems it relies on. 🇮🇳 Support our businesses. Demand accountability. Evaluate new technology on its merits. Where would you draw the line between open competition and strategic dependence?

That's where I'd want more detail: who handles the data, which laws apply, and what safeguards exist? A concern is a reason to investigate, not proof of a hidden agenda.

Don’t forget during Kargil and Ukraine War. I'd check the exact history before repeating its "kill switch" claims. But the question it raises is worth asking: what is our backup when access isn't guaranteed?

I can criticise Ambani, Adani or anyone else and still care about India's strategic independence. Those positions aren't contradictory. Nor does a foreign company's criticism, by itself, prove a plot against India. I want evidence before making that leap.

My view: strong businesses should translate into public benefit. Policymakers should push for jobs, fair competition, better services and accountability. Backing Indian industry shouldn't mean giving any company a free pass.

I don't find the "one industrialist is a hero, another is a villain" framing useful. I'd rather ask: what are they building, who benefits, and are the rules fair? Admiration and dislike aren't substitutes for examining the business.

The part I found most useful: a big company doesn't have to do every job itself. The model described is large projects feeding work to mid-sized firms, smaller contractors and workers. I'd judge that model by how much value actually reaches them.

It's also about absorbing risk. A port, highway or major infrastructure business needs the capacity to survive delays, losses and unexpected costs. That's why I think scale matters beyond the headline valuation of a company.

The capitalism point in this reel really clicked for me: Large projects need large pools of capital. Having money spread across millions of consumers isn't the same as having an enterprise that can finance and execute a major project.

I'm not against better technology or foreign investment. I want better connectivity for India. But price and speed can't be the only things we discuss. Control, reliability and security belong in the conversation too.

For me, sovereignty comes down to a simple test: If a service becomes critical, can we keep it running during a crisis? If someone else can cut access, I want to understand that dependency before celebrating the deal.

I think we're asking the wrong question in the Starlink @Starlink vs Jio @reliancejio debate. The bigger question is: who controls the infrastructure we depend on, and what happens when their interests stop matching ours? 🇮🇳🧵

Indian talent is running some of the biggest companies in the world: Satya Nadella at Microsoft, Sundar Pichai at Alphabet, Arvind Krishna at IBM, Shantanu Narayen at Adobe. Cloud, search, enterprise tech and creative software, all led by people from India. If the US ever makes it harder for talent like this to build there, that's America's loss and a big opportunity for us.

I was in Dubai last weekend for F1 as @Gate invited me to experience the Paddock Club and man that was something else. i’ve watched F1 for years but seeing it from that close was an amazing experience standing right above the garages, watching the teams prep, hearing the cars fire up… unreal. even got to walk through the pit lane.. seeing how fast those mechanics operate, how everything is coordinated down to milliseconds… huge thanks to @Gate for bringing me in and giving me the chance to see all of this up close. one of the nicest experiences i’ve had this year.. and if you’re even slightly into F1, i’d genuinely recommend trying this, Gate is giving away VIP paddock passes for the next race. entry link: 👉 gate.com/campaigns/sites35-f… quick notes about @Gate: - globally open, no issues - while doing KYC, choose “Other” for Country/Region (if your country doesn’t appear) - top-3 CEX and runs a solid, safe platform if you win this, trust me… the paddock club is absolutely worth it. good luck!

It's official: Token2049 is going to New York next year.
RIP to all the broke, broken-English, can't-get-a-US-visa crypto losers.
If I ever make it, I'll rent the cheapest venue in Thailand/Bali/India and host Token2069 for everyone who can't get into 2049.
🇺🇸 TOKEN2049 IS COMING TO NEW YORK 🇺🇸 16-17 June 2027

🚀Consensus 2024, Hongkong: Key Takeaways 1️⃣ Solana (SOL) Hype Fading? SOL’s rally was driven by memes and DePIN projects (though most underperformed). Majority believe SOL’s game is over. 2️⃣ BNB Season Incoming? 70% of market participants think BNB memes will run next. BNB has a loyal community unlike SOL’s gambler-driven audience. Recent BNB memes had fewer rugs & many are still holding strong. 3️⃣ Alts Season Correlation If BNB pumps, alts season may follow. March is expected to be bullish, but if the pump doesn’t come, a 2-3 month bear market could be next. 4️⃣ Trump & Memes Delayed Alts Season Trump-related memes absorbed liquidity, delaying the broader altcoin run. 5️⃣ KOLs Losing Influence Many KOLs have bot followers, making them less impactful. Harder to find authentic KOLs in this market. 6️⃣ Consensus 2024 Event: Overrated? Main event wasn’t as valuable as Token2049. Side events were better for networking & deal-making. 7️⃣ AI Agents: The Next Big Narrative? Several projects building in AI Agents look promising. VCs are actively looking for solid AI Agent plays. 📊 Overall Market Sentiment: ✅ 80% bullish on March 📈 ⚠️ If no pump, short-term bear cycle likely What are your thoughts? Are we entering BNB & Alts Season, or is caution needed? Let’s discuss! ⬇️🔥 #Crypto #BNB #AltsSeason #AI
