introducing the nights & weekends fund. $100,000. 10 domains. $5,000 per grant. no equity. no contract. just straight money. but, one condition -- if you make it big, you pinky promise to buy us a jet ski... here are our first 5 domains: 1. ai 2. music 3. film 4. hardware/hard tech 5. software (non-ai) you can spend the money on anything: your first arduino, buying cloud credits, a new synthesizer for your edm album, whatever. this fund is for the hobbyists :). we're looking to allocate $10,000 to each category. $5,000 per grant. we'll also be allocating some of the fund to starter grants -- between $100 - $500 for up to 100 people. round 1 for all grants starts in 9 days. how to be eligible: 1. apply to s5 [link in my bio] 2. make progress each wk. 3. we'll help you along the way. 4. at the end of the 6-wks, we'll pick. we wont be picking purely based on growth. ex. maybe as a dev you went from learning to code, to an mvp with 10 users over 6-weeks. or, maybe as a creator you got your first 10,000 views on a youtube video after posting each wk. whatever. we're looking for people consistently putting in the work + getting some results over 6-weeks, no matter how big/small. why aren't we doing a basic "grant application"? because, it's not the best signal. we want to give the money to people who are actually gonna follow through. so, showing us what you got over 6-weeks is the perfect way to help us see what you can do. if that all sounds cool, hit the link in my bio. p.s: yes, this will replace final 32 for s5. p.s.s: if you've already applied to s5, you're already in the running. okay. apply apply to s5 asap! decisions come out june 15.
