We're so thankful for these GenSend interns working with our Los Angeles Ministry Center. They helped move a survivor of human trafficking and her young children into a new living situation.
What a powerful way to meet needs in Jesus' name!

The best training for being a church planter is being a youth leader at a healthy, disciple-making church first.
Youth ministry prepares you for the unpredictable, trains you to keep people’s attention when you preach (middle schoolers!), shows you how to work together as a church staff, prepares you to survive off little to no budget, teaches you to pray with passion and infuses in you a heart for the next generation that will never go away!
Before planting a church pray about being a youth leader first.
I have done both and am grateful that, before planting a church and pastoring for a decade, I was a youth leader first.

Schools are ripe for the harvest! We have been sharing the "Good News" at schools in Southern California with lots of gospel responses. Pray for follow-up and discipleship to go well.

Do next generation ministries matter?
2,694 people took this poll. It should be eye opening to us all.
77% of all Christians surrender to Jesus as Lord & Savior by the age of 18!
95% by the age of 30.
If we don’t reach a generation while they’re young, we lose a generation.

Thankful for 10 years of YPS SoCal with my dear friends at @slulead and @StudentMinistry. God has used this event to equip thousands of youth leaders on the West Coast. May it continue into the future! 💯 #YPS25 #CSBCYTH
