It's locked to maintain gear progression. Much of the gear or enemies behind those doors outclass base game gear.
Gear progression is: base game -> lost rites -> unmoored world -> lost rites (blade doors) -> norgan
I'm a bit above average in most shooters and whereas the gameplay is fine, everyone's moving like at a quarter speed. No sliding or jumping needed.

Second post is a reach. She definitely looks like a young Hila.

Being able to see that these coal posts aren't American makes me feel better. A few years ago, you'd fall for the subversion.

You play stretched res, edit the config file, use filters to raise brightness, basically collecting every advantage someone could muster but don't cheat? Riiiight.

It's much easier to manage now, you can see the eye glow and hear them becoming more unruly. Just cure them once their personality acts up really bad.
Make sure to explore the lost rites dungeons with water in the UW, as the water drains. But yes, that sounds like a fine way to experience the game.
It depends. AFAIK Dragonforged can upgrade a skill to reduce the stamina cost by 50%, if that's meaningful to you, then yes. There's also a daily buff you can buy for WLC for experience/discipline/affinity boosts.
But there's nothing wrong with starting the DLC in a regular non-ng+ save once you hit lvl 40, DLC gear is gonna outclass base game gear heavily, and make base game content trivial.

The skill upgrade at the dragonforged makes the farming easier anyway.
Yeah there's no way that many people played TW2. Anyone who started with TW2 knows Triss was so under baked in TW3

By buying the game, you're explicitly supporting that with your wallet.

Because his power lets him insta break pallets. M1 killers run loops like trapper.

It's going to depend, because Pendola's value loot spots change from match to match.
