No, it's not the holidays. But who says I need to wait 6 months to pass on some encouragement for the next 12 months. Wishing you some magic and some dreams come true. :)
Happy Monday, world. It's a new week, with new challenges and opportunities.
Be kind to yourself.
Maybe text yourself this little note of encouragement.
A founder's road is not so lonely when they give their team license to be curious! bit.ly/3OCZ1FB
@dremilyanhalt: A founder who doesn’t spend time getting curious trying to grow themselves is not going to create an environment where others feel like they can be curious.
3 downturns in my career so far hold one thing in common: paradigm-shifting companies. With sound experience and fundamentals, there’s rarely a bad time to build a business. And it can be hard to find a better time than in a downturn.
Lasting B2C companies can be built during a downturn (ie @Airbnb, @LinkedIn, @Redfin + @MenloVentures-backed @Roku and @Uber) but our @shawnvc reminds founders: To thrive in a recession-anytime really-you must focus on fundamentals: mnlo.vc/buildingB2Cbiz

Evidence is the lifeblood of law, and legal teams need strong tools to advance justice. @MenloVentures shares that vision, and we’ve loved going on this journey with them. We’re thrilled to enter this next chapter with their continued support. menlovc.com/blog/a-unicorn-t…
Jobs to be done ... every successful founder's cheat code!
🧵 Many product builders fall into the trap of building feature after feature attempting to make customers happy and catch lightning-in-a-bottle. Founders, don't get caught in this cat and mouse chase. Save time, solve Jobs. A JTBD framework breakdown w/ @chime as a case study.

A founder I talked with earlier shared profound belief:
The big trend that is upon us isn't "remote work" but the "integration of work and life."
He believes this integration will help people live more authentically and realize more of their potential.
