PVE is a must especially for new players who want to learn the maps and mechanics especially that tarkov is not a forgiving game.
this is a natural part of Tarkov’s gameplay cycle. PvP players burn through content much faster, then mostly return for events while waiting for the next season - in this case, Season 2.
PvE players are the more consistent audience, maintaining relatively steady activity throughout the wipe.
Using the current player split to claim that nobody wants PvP is simply absurd. Tarkov was ALWAYS about PvP. And always be. PvE is a great addition for those who want to play at least with less stress and I respect that.

Been wanting to say something about all this Iran stuff lately, especially since every day we keep hearing that a massive attack is coming, how close we are to “nuclear war”, how crazy it’s gonna get, and all the usual engagement bait.
Personally, I don’t think anything is gonna happen, especially after the Republicans massive defeat. Ik Trump can still go to war if he wants, but he’s got enough shit to deal with rn and I really don’t think he’s crazy enough to start another war when things are already going this badly for him.
