We're back again!
Took a little two-to-three-day break, but I've got another project to put on your radar.
Welcome to the fourth edition of Spotlight with 0xSammie.
This time, I want to talk about Braid (@LaunchBraid).
One thing that caught my attention during my research is how Braid is approaching multichain token markets.
What if buying a token on one blockchain could affect the same market price traders see on another?
That's the idea behind Braid.
It's a coin launchpad supporting Solana, BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain, Base and Arc.
Creators can choose between two launch models:
β Standard launch
Each selected chain gets its own market and price.
β Braided launch
Two or more selected chains connect to one shared market.
This means a trade on one chain affects the same market price across the others.
And that's the distinction I find interesting.
Braid isn't just trying to make tokens available across multiple chains. It's exploring how liquidity and trading can be coordinated between them.
Of course, there are things worth keeping in mind.
Shared-market trading depends on Braid's infrastructure, and its documentation states that the project hasn't undergone an external audit.
Also, the animation on its homepage is illustrative, not proof of live trading.
Still, it's an interesting approach to multichain markets, and I'll be watching how it develops.

Institutions don't stay off public chains because of speed or fees, at least not always. Often it's simpler than that: they can't put their positions, strategies and counterparties on a public ledger, but they still have to prove things to auditors, partners and regulators.
So the real question isn't "private or transparent." It's "what can I keep private, and what can I still prove?"
That's the problem Primus is going after, and BNB is where it's getting concrete. Their zkTLS verification layer went live on BNB Chain in June, and in March they partnered with BNB Chain and Brevis to build ZKredit.
Here's how I read the idea. zkTLS lets you prove that data from a normal HTTPS source is real without exposing it. FHE lets computation run on encrypted data. Put those on a chain people already use and you get an institution-friendly setup without asking liquidity to migrate to a new privacy chain. Their docs are direct about this: bring privacy to existing rails instead of building a new one.
It's early, and the FHE side in particular still has research to finish. But the direction makes sense to me. For institutions on BNB, privacy and verification aren't two separate features. They only work together.

An AI model can be the smartest in the world and still lose.
Because users don't buy benchmark scores. They buy outcomes.
A model can be better at reasoning but slower and more expensive to run.
@Stanford 's 2025 AI Index highlighted this trade-off: @OpenAI 's o1 scored 74.4% on an IMO qualifying exam, compared to @ChatGPT -4o's 9.3%.
But o1 was nearly 6x more expensive and 30x slower in the comparison.
That's the part of the AI race worth paying attention to.
The winner isn't necessarily the model with the highest score.
It's the one that turns its capabilities into value people can actually use.

Normally when you send crypto on a public blockchain, people can often check the transaction and see the sender, receiver and amount.
STRK20 is designed to change that for supported private transfers.
Hereβs how it works π
1. Shield your assets
You move tokens from your public balance into a shielded pool. Your private balance is then represented by encrypted records rather than an openly visible balance.
2. Send privately
Within the pool, you can send supported tokens without publicly revealing the sender, receiver or transfer amount to ordinary blockchain observers.
Zero-knowledge proofs help the network verify that the transaction is valid without exposing those details.
3. Privacy in your wallet
Bramble is a Starknet wallet launched in October 2026 that supports STRK20 privacy features. It lets users manage their assets and access shielded balances from a Chrome side panel.
But hereβs the important part:
Privacy does not mean every action disappears from the blockchain.
Deposits and withdrawals can still reveal details, and certain information may be available for legitimate compliance reviews.
The bigger goal is to make privacy part of everyday crypto use rather than forcing people to choose between privacy and DeFi.

Starknet wants to prepare for a future where quantum computers could break some of the cryptography protecting crypto wallets today.
Think of it this way: the locks protecting your crypto are built on mathematical problems that todayβs computers struggle to solve. Powerful quantum computers could eventually solve some of those problems much faster.
Starknet is exploring ways to upgrade its security before that becomes a serious threat.
But thereβs a challenge. Starknet currently relies on Ethereum for parts of its security. Becoming an independent Layer 1 could give it more control over how it prepares for that future.
So what did the vote decide?
The community voted to research the idea, not to leave Ethereum immediately. Any actual move would need further proposals and approval.
The big question now is: can Starknet prepare for the quantum era while maintaining strong security?
