if you're tired of useless ips + pfps that sidelined the entire nft category and wanna see a new era of nfts with real utility + fun mechanics powered by onchain primitives like v4, gacha and rwas
follow @stonkrobbers
So far Lucrece has earned 177Ξ from his release, with 1000+ BitMON in the pool still earning him fees and waiting to be revealed.
At 207Ξ, he'll have earned what he would've from a traditional mint at 0.05Ξ.
Today some people who backed will start being able to withdraw their NFTs from the pool and decide "Do I want the NFT still, or have I changed my mind and want the ETH back?"
This dynamic actually adds more protection to collectors than a traditional mint would. If demand slows down, NFTs return to the artist and curb the size of the collection down to what the market can currently handle.
We worked together on the reveal mechanisms, he made the art, and I wrote the contracts. I did not take any proceeds from the drop (although TokenWorks made ~$5k from token trading volume the last 24h). His drop increased demand of the protocol, buying 30Ξ of the token and burning 4.2M ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 thus far. A symbiotic relationship.
If you're an artist/creator/vibe coder and have an idea for a project and I think it will help the FWA ecosystem, I will work with you for free to make sure it goes perfect.

Interesting new NFT mechanic from @daemons404.
Fwiends eggs that hatch and level up while deposited in the FWA pool.
Drops tomorrow via the FWAIR launcher. (backers put up eth against the NFTs and then FWA purchasers have a chance to pull them from spins)
are you bearish or bullish?
ICYMI Fwiends will be dropping tomorrow via @token_works FWAIR
0.05 min backing
backing open to all

Little post to explain the Fwiends mint by @daemons404 launching on Fake World Assets through FWAir launch this coming tuesday
Itβs basically a fully onchain digital pet collection and itβs the first introduction to the Nft callbacks function added to FWA v2 that has not been talked about much (yet)
Every Fwiend starts as an egg with 4 empty charm slots. Depositing it into the FWA pool starts its progression: time spent in the pool earns xp while interactions with other collectors can accelerate that growth. Each of the first four levels reveals a charm and at level 4 the egg hatches, its face is revealed and progression continues toward level 100. First 3 Fwiends to reach that level become the collection legendaries.
When someone draws your Fwiend their choice affects what happens next and this is how the v2 callback function comes into play:
- If they keep or relist it, the Fwiend changes hands and this awards the fwiend 7200 xp which is equivalent to a full day of progression in the pool
- If they take the backing, they receive the payout and the Fwiend returns to you but the Fwiend still earns 1800 xp which is equivalent to a quarter of a day
There is also a collective mechanic: mood is shared across all Fwiends. More Fwiends deposited in the pool means a happier collection, when deposits thin out, charms sour one at a time, when Fwiends feel neglected, it rains and the artwork changes. This is always reversible and as you deposit Fwiends into the pool every Fwiend cheers up and the artwork reflects both a Fwiendβs individual progression and the collective behavior of holders
All these interactions shape an evolving Nft whose storage and rendering are entirely onchain
Fake World Assets
Over the last 2 months, FWA has dominated activity and mindshare across Ethereum.
The original protocol was not perfect. Users complained of unfair pricing of NFTs. Not being able to withdraw their NFTs predictably. Lack of demand for the FWA token post launch.
I like to think we fixed a lot of these issues with V2. We built it with longevity in mind, being able to add adapters and oracle improvements without redeploying the pool. The goal is for everything to be able to run without us, for as long as Ethereum does.
Still a lot of new features and improvements we want to add in the coming weeks but the first step was getting the new pool out and running.
Thank you all for the support.

Introducing the Hypertoadz Simulator
If you want to visualize what mutations can look like across different possible toad families, you can use the Simulator page at hypertoadz.com/simulator
Click on any toad to simulate mutating it, and reroll a new random Genesis to start mutating its tree. You can see how different mutation trees of a given Genesis would play out over time based on what gets mutated.

Trying something new on @farcaster_xyz
if you generate and share a Warplet scene you can claim 100 $WARP and burn 100 $CHAOS.
Testing for the first time today with the WINGMAN scene. Only 1000 generations.

Generate scenes with your Warplet friends. Just tag them!
For now there is one theme to all scenes.
Current theme is: TGIF
Running this experiment up to 1000 generations. Must hold your original warplet to participate. One generation per person so pick your friends wisely.
THIS IS NOT A MINT. It's the start of the Warplet content factory.
This is for fun. Expect bugs. Share your scenes!

Warplet is the cheeky nickname for Farcaster's in-app wallet, a holdover from the Warpcast era.
Yet now, it's also the name of a fresh NFT collection that's exploded atop Farcaster since Sunday.
If a Farcaster NFT season is kicking off, it started right here.π
~~ Analysis by @wmpeaster ~~
The context
Earlier this year, @farcaster_xyz co-founder @dwr was toying around with a Warplet wallet mascot, which he CCo'd.
Still fond of the little monster, Romero posted a picture of his creation with Farcaster's recent free signups announcement, which went viral on X and Farcaster.
Amid this renewed attention, @sayangel β a co-founder of the Resolve VR app and the creator of Farcaster mini apps like Livecaster and Harmonybot β unveiled The Warplets NFT mint.
How it works
Say created The Warplets drop using @0xharmonybot.
The mini app takes your unique Farcaster ID (FID) and current profile picture, then remixes your PFP with the Warplet mascot into a unique NFT.
Another wrinkle: a portion of the mint fee goes to buying-and-burning a Clanker token. Originally, the target was Harmonybot's CHAOS coin, after which Say redirected the burns to the community-created WARP.
Additionally, Harmonybot allows one-click sharing of your new Warplet to your timeline, and the generated NFTs promptly appear in OpenSea's marketplace. These dynamics led to Warplets exploding across Farcaster and into an immediate secondary trading surge.
The mint has run into periodic hiccups, leading to a pause and reopening to Farcaster Pro subs early on. The drop is still open, but some users are having trouble with minting, so Say is working on fixes ahead of announcing a final close date.
When I was writing this post, nearly 26,000 Warplets had already been minted. Every FID could mint one, at least while the drop is live. And with over 1.4M FIDs in existence, the ceiling is high, though the mint's close date will ultimately determine the final supply.
By the numbers
The Warplets have caused a huge activity spike for Farcaster.
Yesterday, Oct. 27th, Farcaster reached a new all-time high in daily active users. Over the past 24 hours, the onchain social network saw +20,000 new Pro subscription purchases, amounting to +$400k in revenue, as people clamored in for Warplets eligibility.
Additionally, the Warplets have made their entrance into NFTs amid a trading frenzy. In its short life so far, the collection has already racked up +36,000 sales and +566 ETH in trading volume.
Big picture
It's starting to feel like 2021 again in Farcaster's NFT scene.
Yes, it's still possible to launch an NFT collection with millions of dollars' worth of sales over night. And as Warplets have demonstrated, among the best places to do that today is Farcaster mini apps. The distribution potential with onchain diehards and NFT veterans is second to none.
Will this launch kick off a trend toward +100k PFP collections, or a new remix meta in NFTs, or both? We'll have to wait and see. But it does seem likely that there will be an uptick now in NFT drops gated to FIDs and Farcaster Pro subscribers.
To me, what's most striking about this episode is how it happened. A meme, a mini app, and some clicks, and then the Farcaster community had a new shared story. It's a glimpse of what's to come in onchain culture, so take note.
