Genuinely heartbroken. The new Godzilla short uses ai for a shot, what an actual spit in the face to the actual Tokusatsu within the same short, but to Godzillas legacy of practical filmmaking & human creativity. Legitimately has killed all my hype for this short, Thanks Toho

Is this the first time ever, a combining robot getting bicep add-on piece? I wish more combining robot toys are doing this. Well, mainly for transforming/combining robots that's impossible to recreate 100% as a toy

I get the point but "made on a budget" isn't the right way to say it. It's just outdated. Especially the earlier films, they had more limitation in production because of how new it is. That's where innovations born and contributes in shaping current methods of production

I hate this mentality that Showa is bad. Or if it’s good, it’s only good “ironically”. Showa was made on a budget but told genuine stories. Some hits. Some misses. The ending of Terror of Mechagodzilla made me tear up
