Chapter 1: Introducing Stampede:
• 20,000 satellites
• 1 MW each
• 20 GW at full build
That's our plan for AI computing in orbit.
No land, no water.

Verizon's CEO said today that SpaceX will need at least 4-6 years and $300B-$500B to fully build out its @Starlink Mobile U.S. carrier network:
"Their service just can't compete with a terrestrial network. In suburban and urban areas, where 98% of our revenues are, we're somewhere between 100x–1,000x more efficient than they are. We know exactly what they're going to do. We know who they're talking to on towers. There's no magic wand. There's no secret sauce. There's no shortcut.
They're going to look at 65,000–80,000 macro sites. They're going to need backhaul, RAN, and a tremendous amount of spectrum. It's going to take a minimum of four to six years to fully build that out. It's going to cost hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, I assume somewhere between $300 billion and $500 billion.
Then they need to build retail, customer service, back office systems, et cetera. All of that gets them basically the same network and same capabilities and same cost structure as what we have today. Then sometime over the next four to six years, they have the possibility of becoming the sixth, not the fourth, the sixth competitor in the market.
You can be sure over these next three to five years or six years, we are not going to be standing still. Four to five years from now, we will be two to three generations better than where we are today. We will have high-speed broadband gig-plus coverage across the country with our millimeter wave. We are ahead of most people and already experimenting with what 6G applications will look like."

GPT 6.1 Terra is priced at $1 per million for an input token and $5 per million for an output, almost half the price of GPT 5.6 Terra and GPT 6.1 Sol and around 10x the price of GPT 6 Luna.

I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product.
I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary.
X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful.
We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

Baker bought his first Nvidia share in 2000. Market cap under $1 billion. The NASDAQ dropped 85% that year and Nvidia still outperformed.
He met Jensen as a young analyst at Fidelity. His line: "He became my template for what an exceptional CEO looks like."
Then he explained the moat nobody wants to hear.
"People ask if their chips are really that far ahead of Google's. That is not the moat. It is not the chips. It is the system and the software."
Voodoo and 3DFX were the big gorilla back then. Nvidia bought their IP and took over their 100 best engineers.
Baker's unhedged line: "There would be no AI revolution without Nvidia."
He has been right on this trade for 26 years.
Lets see them sales, growth and margins💪🤣
Anthropic already has $132bn of cash.
Add a ~$140bn IPO, $77bn of committed funding from Google, Amazon and Broadcom and cash from a business growing 14x a year and it could be sitting on roughly $400bn by the end of 2027.
That's more firepower than almost any company on earth, aimed at one thing and one thing only: compute.
In a race where the winner is whoever can build the most, Anthropic is about to have the deepest pockets in AI outside of Big Tech itself.

I am shocked, absolutely shocked, that Anthropic ARR has likely gone vertical in October after they cut token prices.
Except the exact same thing happened for the entire AI market, which is why GPU rental prices have surged while token prices declined.
$100b plus in year-end ARR looks possible again.
