Hello everyone, We wanted to share an important and heartwarming update. One of the most important aspects of the Cecil DAO project, to support humanitarian organizations as outlined in the whitepaper, has now been successfully carried out. The organizations we committed to have received the allocated funds, and we are grateful for the opportunity to follow through on the promises made when this DAO was first launched. Over the past months, Cecil DAO has distributed $5000 USD to each the partner charities for a total of $25000, including: Akashinga - supporting the all-female anti-poaching unit Protecting African Lions (PAL) - preserving lion populations and habitats Malaika - empowering girls in the DRC through education and clean water The King’s Children’s Home - providing safe shelter for abandoned and abused children Justice Pour l’Enfance - protecting children affected by conflict and exploitation We have received “thank you” videos, written messages, and expressions of gratitude from the organizations, their leaders, and even the children and communities directly impacted by your support. These messages were incredibly moving, and we will continue sharing them through the appropriate channels so the community can see the difference you helped make.
